First thank you for any and all new chivalry content, this game is great. However Bridgetown and Montcrux are noticeably less creative and basic, and almost feel like map concepts. Montcrux itself is great visually, but tunnels in walls? Not bringing walls down like Kingdom of Heaven? The pathing isn't freeform enough. I cannot understand why there isn't one more objective where Agathian players go into the tower to kill the remaining Tenosians in Coxwell fashion.
Bridgetown's final objective of tossing the nobles out of windows is great. The worst part of the map is where you have to quickly destroy merchants booths. Didn't really feel like we sacked anything, and the village opening and bridge objective aren't good.
The best maps are easily ones with subtle narratives or stories in them, Chivalry 1 was really good at this I feel. The objectives are a big part of that creativity. Galencourt is great, I'd like a follow up map where Argon takes it back. The gunpowder plot? Battle on the Ice? Evensham? What about civil-war ala Richard vs Henry? You have Templar stuff, Battle of Montgisard? Just don't lose creativity, there's so much to pull from and things players can do in-game. Bridgetown and Montcrux are too simple. I've bought every campaign, I'll continue to support you, but please take into consideration some of the feedback.
Also can you shrink heroes down to normal size? The giant thing's always been weird.
