This is intentional. Some people enjoy that TDM mixup so we kept it as an option for mixed servers in standalone. Matchmaking is a more pure TO only playlist now based on feedback

If they added ranked play, the game would need to be balanced. That is work the devs have no intention of ever taking on, sadly. If you want a ranked mode, you'll have to use the modkit to make one
