Why won't my takedowns count after placing the boulder on the catapult so that my teammate can fire?

It's annoying that my takedowns won't count after I placed the boulder onto the catapult then my teammates fires it and gets a few kills off of it while I get takedowns but my takedowns doesn't go up on the leaderboard.

I had 9 takedowns and my teammate killed person, so that means I'm suppose to have 10 takedowns right? Nope, they won't count it and I still have 9 takedowns afterwards.

Only my score goes up

Same here, I get the points for the takedowns but they don’t tally on the scoreboard. Been a problem since I started playing the game last October
