Howdy, I've had an issue with constant freezing the last week and a half.
Every time I get into action, I freeze for about 2 - 3 seconds.
I noticed that when I switched my monitor to 165hz from 144hz the freezing stopped.
The game doesn't play smooth when I change it to 165hz so I revert back to the normal 144hz but I have to deal with the freezing.
I've changed and played with all Video settings but I'm still having this issue.
Windows 10 PC, fully updated, GPU drivers are current, ran sfc scan, restarted router, no updates driver/Win updates in the last two weeks, all other games are running smooth as butter.
I've tried reinstalling the game as well.
Reinstalled nvidia drivers.
Nothing else seems off.
Any thoughts?

Issue was fixed. Related to friend list updates during game. Jesus.
How did you fix it? I am having a similar issue
Here ya go. Hope it works for you too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOdJNYEUUok&lc=Ugyu_qGPzdrI3wXoq7N4AaABAg.9rxXGNIJ2TR9s-xl0PiLny
Cheers, unfortunately this one won't work for me, because I don't seem to have a persistentdownloaddir folder at all
Still thanks for the link, appreciate it!
@signal zinc welp, the fix only worked for me for a day sooo.. if I find any other fix I'll let ya know
@signal zinc I've been doing some testing and found that the game freezes when a process by the name of dasHost.exe has a burst in network traffic.
This process sits at about 2-3k bytes but when chivalry freezes it jumps up to 50-60k bytes/sec. Unsure what's causing the jump but I'm going to keep looking into it.
@signal zinc
@signal zinc I suspended the process then closed and reopened resource monitor. It stopped appearing and the game is running smooth now without any interruptions
idk if it's a perma fix or what but its working for now
