#Cosmetics reset after joining server

Basically as the title says, my customization was reset after joining the 64 player server for Rudhelm siege on what I believe is server 20182740, as depicted in the screenshot below (top line).

I first joined as an agathian vanguard, but quit after I noticed my outfit was incorrect. After fixing that, I rejoined as a Mason but the cosmetics for my vanguard were also reset. When I returned to the menu, the customization for my both the Mason footman and the Vanguard had been reset.

I did not play as a footman, however I played as both a vanguard and a footman in a duel server prior to joining the 64 player rudhelm siege.

I've been dealing with this since day 1 it's probably the most annoying glitch I've ever seen

Just had this start for me after the latest hotfix!!! Sooo annoying!

@jagged axle PS5, happened more often on PS4 but idk these days. It's super rare nowadays, used to happen alot. But when it does happen it's frustrating.

If I can find a reliable cause for the issue I'll definitely update you, seems pretty random.

definitely understand how frustrating it can be!
Do you find it always happens immediately after a new update/patch and then resolves itself? or was it consistently resetting

@jagged axle while you're here I'll state another cosmetic-related glitch. On PS5 (dont know if it's exclusive) on your first life/spawn in a lobby your weapon/shield will appear as the default skin. Throwing it and picking it up will give you your set skin, or dying will. I can upload a video if necessary, it's a very minor glitch but as someone who likes character appearance it is noticeable.

And to answer your question it's been apparent since launch, but as the updates went by, personally, it has become more rare to come by. I've only had it happen twice since way back on the Aberfell update.

That one is known, but I'm not sure of the status of it in the database, there were some higher priority things that have pushed it back. I think with shields, it used to be more severe where the shield would always appear agathian which has been improved I think
