#Performing a sprinting special will randomly do a neutral special instead

I've noticed this happening many times in the past week. It's very inconsistent and I have no idea how to reproduce it, I believe it just happens due to poor server performance. It happened 3 times within 5 minutes on a US East server yesterday. I will post the clips.

Notice how the double chevron, which appears when you are in a sprinting state, is visible all the way up until the special attack is used

For comparison, here is what it looks like if I sprint attack and then crouch to stop stamina regen, then perform a special.

I'll have to at least try some games using a different key to see if that's the issue but I'm sure it is after you pointed out the stamina drain

The first video I was a little unsure if it was just because of a sharp turn cancelling your sprint but #2 is definitely a good straight sprint. The stamina drain happens in both so I do think that's the case rather than sprint just turning off suddenly.

Definitely play for a bit with them on separate keys and see if it ever happens but yeah that should be fixed because eating extra stamina 👎

@zinc eagle Sad to report that that wasn't the issue!

Now when I use a separate bind for the sprinting special, my character will sometimes grunt and lose stamina, as well as not do any type of attack at all... 😔

I'll try it later anyways

Yes, want to verify if it happens with the totally default settings- sometimes rebinding things will have interesting knock on effects. I am very boring and use the default keybinds but I know previously you would have some weird interactions if you rebound your battlecry key for example.

Totally default settings will have your special and sprint attack both be the same key (Q) but will be useful for tracking down the cause of this
