Ill keep it simple...You cannot place down barricades in the most important and random places on maps anymore even though they arent anywhere near a spawn point, Examples are the first bridge on bridge Town, the 2 points on falmires bridge, Lionspire first gates, the list goes on. Trying to place down barricades essentially get you killed now, Additionally picking up a barricade automatically makes you switch out your weapon for the barricade...why...the F%&#. Engineer is my favorite class because the ability to destroy and place objects and now half of that fun is gone.

This! Also in my experience since patch i can place only ONE barricade, the second is in my eq but it cant be placed. Fix this urgently! Engineers are so underrated anyway!

The build zone getting nuked is rough though and makes them close to useless until patch though.

Most infuriating for me in the gate stage on galencourt. There's not a single sensible area to put down berricades. This shit often gets me killed as i run around desperately finding ANY spot to place my stuff while people try to kille me.

Getting a bandage at a box now also automatically switches you to wall placement, which leaves you really vulnerable. Very annoying.

Of course they weren't weak. By underrated I meant that they don't recieve points as they should taking into account their participation in victory of defending team, and because of that not many ppl want to play as them.

Terrible change defeats the whole purpose of engineer. If they need to be nerfed this is not the way. It makes the gameplay really clunky

I'm annoyed when I play as one of the knight subclasses I used to be able to put my banner in places that were a little bit harder to get to and I liked being able to pick strategic places to place them and now I can't put them in half as many places
