I remember when the game first came out and the general idea behind not initially having cross-platform parties was to prevent users from making yet another account for something, which I get and respect. One thing I see in a few games that implements doing just that very well is a invite code system. Here's attached a screenshot of how it looks. User gives it to their friend, they are able to party up with the code. No accounts needed. Simple.
#Food for Thought...Cross-platform play

Well thats not really the case in this part. The devs probably having a hard time getting it to work correctly. As it is same platform parties are not working correctly for a lot of players. The dev company is pretty small and trying to fix other issues with this broken game.
time out, didn't they have other gaming company working with them? I noticed trip wire most popular get recruited other gaming company to help out and they r part of this game so...
I am going let u guys guess for while
Tripwire is just the publisher for the game. Tb is doing all the development and not doing a very good job of it. Its probably why cross-party is taking so long. Plus the game has so many problems. Same platform parties is still broke.
no to be exact, they had 3 company, torn banner (themselves), trip wire, deep sliver, and forgot the rest ppl company
Tb is the only developer and the company is small. Tripwire and Deep Silver are just publishers for the game.
ok, but u know other gaming company do help each other like Digital Extreme and their name was mistaken as publishers but whatever, not my problem who's correcting who.
I know but its not in this case. Tb is the only one handling development on this game. Although not doing a very good job. Tripwire is handling digital publishing and Deep Silver handling retail publishing. If Tb had help with this game it wouldnt be this broken. Same platform parties would be working. Features like cross-party would already be in the game.
ook
Naw, you just fell for the lie. They used false advertising to promote the game. When they got called out for it they pretended "crossplay" never meant "crossplatform parties" (despite the definition of the term).
This feature doesnt work yet because the devs are failing to make it so. Truely sad that they dont understand how bad this is for the player base.
Btw day 152 since last update about crossplay 😈
How big do you think TB is?
