#AMD Radeon software do not detect the game

Hey,
does anyone know a solution to make AMD Radeon software (this alt+r overlay) detect that I play Chivalry 2? I have Epic Games version of the game, AMD Radeon software does not detect it automatically and when I try to put it manually (both: chivalry2-Win64-Shipping.exe and Chivalry2Launcher.exe) I cant launch it properly.

Are you pointing to the file in the sub directory "Binaries" or in the root directory?

Ok, so I had this pointed here, as on 1st screen, but I've just tried to do it with exe in the TBL->Binaries folder and it isn't working either 😦

Hmm, thanks for the screenshots, they help a lot.
So you are trying to launch the game from within your amd library right?
Or are you launching from egs and then your amd overlay doesn't work at all?
I have experience with Nvidia and that works just fine without me having to do anything...
Try this: launch the game normally through epic... When the game launches, right click on the game in the task bar and open the properties, and add whatever that is to amd?

  1. Yes, Im trying to launch it via amd library, and this is when it doesn't work;
  2. When I launch game normally I have no problem with AMD Overlay, it is working normally, it's just that it doesn't detect the game;
  3. I've just done what you suggested, the file that is in the task bar is the file from TBL/Binaries, so I checked it before;
  4. Yes, I have the newest updates;
    I'm not specialist, but my intuition says that it may be something with connection between game and Epic Launcher when you start it via AMD Library.
    Anyway - it is not really big pain in the ass, I just said it for the record, there's much more more important problems to solve 😄

Thanks for the great write up... And yes there must be some additional parameters that egs appends to the game... I should know... But I am afraid I don't know off the top of my head... Can you still record gameplay through the amd panel... When launching from egs?

@hexed dock I don't know if its good to dig for this thread, but I just wanted to give an info that this problem is solved - either due to Chiv or AMD update, but everything finally works fine! ❤️
