Looking at this image you actually have gotten XP towards it, just the bar isn't filled.

Here's what mine looks like for comparison you have progressed further XP wise than I have (you have 589 remaining to level up, I have 680)

Oh yeah, need 347 xp to level up. The major problem is that we don't get enough XP. The XP received is ridiculously little.

As far as I can tell so far it's working for everyone. Progression is just very slow due to the XP bug. There is a separate bug causing the progress bar to not fill.

As an update;

Courtesy of @queen seal we can see that the progress bar appears to fill as you level up, rather than as you gain XP. Since his pass has only leveled from level 0 -> 1 there's not much difference but you can see a bit of grey to the left of the number as the "1" slides to the right.
So in theory that part is actually working fine, it's just the XP value gained from matches currently is incredibly low.

Match XP gains are unintentionally low currently (as per #💥︱known-issues ) and I suspect this is the cause of the incredibly slow battlepass XP gains since it probably just dumps your match XP into it.

Yeah, I just got +56XP (global) for a complete match (loss). Quarterstaff is seemingly slow to level as well. It would appear that it is all XP. Thank @west widget for the response!

I love how they have to do that because people keep asking the same question after the issue has been addressed, personally if it was possible I would lock the thread, and lock any subsequent ones that are made linking them to this thread for the pinned message. The issue I have raised is already being worked on by the Dev team, the mods brought it to their attention, I really don't know what more you want from the mod team.

have you confirmed his purchase of the battle pass went through successfully? if you could ask him, steam is notorious for processing some purchases quite long in certain countries for example Argentina and Turkey due to credit fraud

and make sure he in fact did purchase the premium battle pass
