Mason footman only has 2 good looking helmets (imo) and the gjermundbu barely makes the cut, it'd be cool if the little chainmail part was added even if it's just for a specific armor set

Would love this, they could just add "chain" varieties for each version. Just like some of the "up" or "down" variants on some of the solid helms.
Also, tangentially related, the "Painted morion" is so goddamn ugly. And it's criminal there's no "feather" variants of all of the morion helms.

I dont think they will add chain to the helmet since itll conflict way too much on other stuff. They may make more armors with it though. I would perfer just a toggle and small complex system to not allow on armors thatll look broken but tb isnt that skilled.
They should release a variant of the current armors compatible with chain as a extra skin.
That way we can get everything looking alright with coifs.

In fairness, why not a ‘reclaimed’ helmet option for the classes? Like being able to use certain Agatha helmets on Mason and vice versa, but the helmets have been visually changed to be “reclaimed/reforged”, like different metallic coloring

mordhau's content output hasn't exactly been the best and that game's combat system became way more broken over time
TB can and should do better in regards to cosmetics, balance, and general communication, though.
I mean I'd be willing to pay for DLC if it meant better cosmetics, Chiv 1 had good DLC. Hell if a DLC pack that added some of the iconic Chiv 1 helmets dropped tomorrow I'd buy it immediately
