#Buff Engineer and ambusher (and Rapier maybe)

C'mon we all know these classes are just trash, the engineer, your enemy gets rewarded for destroying something YOU placed to help your team but you don't get rewarded? And 2 barricades? Ik you can resupply but they're weak anyways so basically useless, bear traps are also useless, they literally stun the enemy for 0.5 seconds, their weapons are crap, and the fact they don't have a secondary weapon isn't even fair considering how useless the barricades and bear traps are, they also have some of the worst weapons in the game, which would make sense if they could do anything useful, I suggest giving score to the engineers when their structures get destroyed, since that means they were useful, bear traps drop enemies to the ground for at least 2.5 seconds, giving them more barricades, and to fix the "barricades are weak" problem I suggest 3 different solutions
1-Make their overall HP higher
2-Make them immune to cut type weapons
3-Make them take significantly more damage from blunt weapons.
And then the Ambusher, weak weapons, low damage input, it's almost impossible to be sneaky, katars are trash,etc.
So to fix this problems I suggest that Ambushers can one-hit every class from behind with the dagger special attack, Ik this is kinda controversial, but come on it's almost impossible to sneak behind enemies anyways, I also suggest that Ambushers can't do desertion, how are you supposed to sneak behind if you're always deserting? What makes it also hard to sneak behind enemies is the fact that they can see you from miles away so I suggest some kind of ability to be marked as an ally idk it sounds ridiculous, buff the katars, now make the jab useful make it interrupt hits, also at least add a sword for the ambushers, they can't do much with a short sword and a dagger, also Its impossible to sneak behind enemies if they are spawning every second, so just remove the class or just make a full rework on it because it's trash

I agree that the ambusher and engineer need a little buff and fix, but i disagree that both class are trash, since the engi's job focus more on the obj and ambusher have tons of way to ambush instead of just sneaking behind the enemy (one included gangbang), you gonna have easy time fighting players that pick those sub-class thinking the same as you, but you also gonna have a hard time if you fight those players using those class that know what they are doing

ambusher, no this time and also eng as well. The only thing what is coming into the game is unique discussion about long time ago about new design traps and mobile ballista, not the big one but the small one. That is why we have short on short eng class because they are pose to be vestal including the ambusher which they already hit hard I mean seriously hell hard for you can do back dmg and do massive dmg depending what weapon you have, so if you took battle axe that you stole and do massive heavy attack in the back of a knight, you would instance kill him as an ambusher because the bonus is that great. The Eng he will soon getting his utility more advance because we got horse and everyone want either metal trap floor to actually stop the horse that continue dmg enemies certain period or eng will get a ballista that is portable just like Mordhau but less dmg they make which we want make sure it be exact dmg like crossbow but lesser dmg then a crossbow because I already predicted that the mobile ballista may go way too meta and it become that is why I ask request less dmg on players so prediction it would do 15-25 dmg on none armor unit like the vanguard or archer, do a 15% dmg on footmen and doing 25% against knights because the bonus will hit around 30-45 dmg against the knights and footmen.

I usually play a bit more as Ambusher, quite fun when you manage to one/two tap someone with a hatchet from behind and run away (repeat process). Only thing which I dislike with it, are the lack of throwable weapons. Maybe give the class like the throwing axes or the mallet to choose from as well. Giving the ambusher subclass a larger variation on what weapons it can have.

I mean it’s you so this is bait. But also, these are two classes with fairly high skill floors. Meaning hopping in and trying em usually means you’ll have a bad time. I’ve seen people do wonders on defense with engineer, and while I think they should be allowed to resupply walls at boxes (and maybe have the hatchet or something as a secondary) I think they work as intended otherwise.

And the ambusher, is good. Not sure what else to say there. You’ve gotta play fairly different to other classes but you can do well in most gamemodes with em. Maybe not free for all because it’s all 1vX all the time but otherwise 🤷‍♂️

just remove the engi limit and I'll be happy. The defenses are laughable—at least the flimsy paper-thin walls might amount to something when there are more people placing them.

His weapons are surprisingly decent. And the antics with the barricades are great don’t get me wrong, it’s just ZERO XP WHEN ENEMIES DESTROY YOUR BARRIES WHY

For starters, the engineer has 4 barricades, you can immediately see a person who does not understand the topic, lol. However, you can only wear 2, then replenish from the drawer and put 2 again. Thus, the defending team can barricade the gate with 16 barricades. The engineer is now in a very good position, as Deals more damage to buildings. However, he must receive points for the fact that the enemy breaks his barricades. Ambusher is also a very interesting class. If you enjoy being a stealth assassin and playing as a spy in TF2, this class is for you. And I don't see any downsides.

Ambusher has a clear disadvantage compared to other classes, how can you be stealthy?
Barricades get destroyed super fast there is no possible way they are useful, I know you can replenish so I'm guessing you assumed I didn't know to look superior, ok you can barricade the gate with 16 barricades which would be useful if all engineers suddenly coordinated and if the barricades didn't got destroyed in under 30 seconds, with the bear trap you can only land 1 hit on an enemy before he raises again like if the bear trap did nothing, I have no problem having no secondary because that would be compensated if the engineer had useful barricades, and an actual useful primary weapon, and lastly the main problem, you don't get XP when someone destroys your barricades

Ambusher's are literally perfect right now, if anything buff MAA.

Engineers are honestly really good too. The only thing i'd really like to see is bear trap / spikes being refilled at supply crates (Makes no sense they arn't)

and if like there was just a few dagger/short sword varieties of different lengths damage etc it would at least like give you some form of variety, even if its just all still daggers.
