For the love of God, help me get back to bonkin

The game is freezing at the log in screen, the opening credits play, and then after that it's solid as ice. Worked fine sunday night, tried playing monday and nada. Freezes at the exact same spot on epic and steam. Pic attached.

I've tried reinstalling, I've verified game integrity files on steam, I've updated GPU drivers, updated windows, run the game as administrator.

Googling gets people talking about freezing while playing, I havent really seen anyone talk about this though. I suppose I'll keep looking, but if anyone has any insight that would be much appreciated.

I have this issue too, also started happening recently and on both epic and steam

Someone was able to suggest a fix that worked for me. I deleted the chiv2 appdata folder and all is well. I went to documents, searched "appdata" --->local--->find and delete the chivalry 2 folder. Restarted the game and it loaded up no problem. It's worth a try.

Is this folder shared between Steam and Epic, if you have bothP

i'm not sure, I actually havent tried epic again. Ive only played on steam. edit: epic is also working for me

apparently that folder doesnt get deleted when you uninstall the game, so thats why the guy suspected it might have gotten messed up
