People are constantly spewing homophobia, sexism, racism and transphobia, often at the end of rounds where you don't have enough time to find them on the player list and report them. I've never heard of any consequences happening from these reports and I see the same players saying the same awful stuff.
When we report someone how does it look on the company's side? Is there a chat log they have access to? Do they have a way of telling any players that they did anything? Are there any processes that watch chat logs and report or ban people automatically?
I've even seen someone saying homophobic stuff whose name either was Crustacean the Soup or was close enough that people were actually referring to them as a developer. If that wasn't CtS then it's definitely someone who made players think and act like it was. That player was responding to statements as though they were a dev. I can't remember if I reported them or not.

Hi there. Moderators definitely look at reports. The fastest way to expedite removal is to open a ticket with the moderators by DMing @alpine crescent and provide names and screenshots of the issues youre seeing.
We arent at liberty to explain all the tools at our disposal, but know we are always watching.
Impersonating a developer isnt acceptable and we will look in to it. You can always tell who is an actual Torn Banner employee because they will have a 
logo next to their name.

just following up on this and saying i've been extremely disappointed in my experience with the moderation system. there's someone with a full-on slur as their username that the company refuses to action. if you can't even report that then what's the point of fighting hate? I've had a support ticket in with the official website about it for a month now with no comment
you're able to appeal a mute or a ban but you're not able to appeal a refusal to take down hate speech

hey, enable console ingame in the settings menu, if you face the racist start the console with the keypad key, usually it is +, type listplayers and press enter, open textpad on your desktop and paste (strg+v), go back to the game and snipping tool screenshot the chat. paste the playerinfo you want and the screensho into the ticket. i've never had a bad experience when i provided it in that way

Yeah, that's the way i normally report people, as well as reporting them in-game. still waiting to hear anything on this report from yesterday at noon i submitted about people saying trans people should be killed with grenades but i suppose they're busy
