There's a voiceline for the Mason Footman that is incredibly offensive towards members of the LGBT community.

It's goes "you should be women, but your beards prevent me from interpreting that you are so." This, of course, can be taking as anti-trans rhetoric. Implying that trans women with any male presenting attributes are seen as "less than".

It also puts forward that any women with stereotypical male features are "less than" than those that do not.

Please remove this voiceline. It seems like a stab at an already extremely vulnerable group.

The reality is this game is a fun combat game that doesn’t take itself that seriously and this post is trying to make it about a group it’s not about due to a persons feelings. If we’re gonna get that technical, then we should ask the developers to change all the weapons to fluffy toy bears because there are people dying in Ukraine / Russia, due to violence and killing people is wrong. Why make it about trans rights though? A medieval meme game is so far disassosiated from trans anything its ridiculous that youd call it out. It simply wasnt a thing in medieval times, and even if it were, the only mentions that WOULD be about it in game would be insults on the emote wheel. Ridiculous? Im looking to have one voiceline removed as it can send someone into a spiral of self hatred. I've had enough of my friends talk to me about suicide over the little things. If it means completely distorting the voiceline to the point it sounds like whitenoise, no one would care other than those who want that message pushed.

The issue is it tells women that a few hairs on their chin, a natural occurrence, makes them less of a woman. We already have adverts and influencers telling women they aren't women
