Sometimes you can do more with less. For all the money and time injected into the anime, the fights look extremely basic. I saw the demon slayer movie in theaters and I just was not impressed at all with any scenes besides the final one which lasted about 30 seconds

Increasingly, I see my damage done after I died and spawned. This is starting to piss me off. In this game with such servers, you can only play on horses. Every time I see the enemy parry my blow during an attack. This is just bullying.

• You have to restart your game more then once to actually receive invites from your friends on epics and consoles because %50 of the time its broken.
• Still no cross plat form parties (Promised since launch)
• Still haven't increased the party size limit (promised since launch)
• Still Cant even join your friend's game through the main menu

Matchmaking

• In Arena i still get sent to London/ Paris / SA matches when im in US east.
• Most Team Objective matches you have to finish the first game for it to actually fill up (Player base is thinning out)
• TBS Removed LTS and FFA from matchmaking so now these games modes have almost died out completely unless a clan/community starts a game up in the server browser.
• No ranked matchmaking for arena or the 1v1 duel mode so majority of the time its stomping on new players (which isn't fun for anyone lets be real) the high skilled players get bored and the new players get discouraged. How is that any good? Stop being scared to step away from just a casual game. You made a fighting game of course people wanna hone their skills and get competitive its apart of being human🤣 . You are destroying your own game.

BUGS/ Server performance
Servers just feel like they have been degrading so much since the last update.

• Desyncs in duel servers (Your hit goes through your opponent's block)
• Throwing your weapon at an opponent sometimes wont do any damage
• Helmet glitch that still isn't fixed.
• Hits will sometimes push your opponent back not causing any damage when you clearly hit them.
• Vote kicks will not go through in LTS servers and people can still exploit vote kicks by leaving and joining back in any server (Has been like this since launch so trolls will harass players) Also they don't even have a lot of in game mods to Moderate servers just discord mods. The only mods and dev that do help are shovel girl/Yurik/Funk/ and Connect but that is not nearly enough in game mods.

Lack of Community tools and Engagement

• Still no private servers (Promised since launch)
• They don't answer actual questions from their Q n A streams just what they want to. Of course its their right to but that tells the community alot.
• Lack of transparency from the community manger and the dev team as a whole.

TBS MO at this point is to ignore the community and do as little as possible. The game is in a worse state now then ever and some people think we should be appreciative when basic features that should have been fixed a year ago get delayed time and time again. There have been zero new maps in the primary game mode for the past 4 months no new weapons in the past 10 months and a small handful of cosmetics. From what i heard they expanded their dev team so either they are turning their focus else where (maybe another game) Or they just straight up don't care.

I have been here since the beta and had nothing but respect for these devs at the beginning because this game was great and had the potential to be the medieval version of call of duty (Still does) but they have been giving us nothing but disappointments and honestly my faith in the devs have gone to 0.

Torn banner decides to launch onto xbox subscription.....ok so as a studio, you launched in steam which should of been a huge deal, but you did it with so many fucking issues occurring. and to this date, there are still consistent problems and disgruntled players that literally your game dropped its player base hard. and dont act like its natural cause literally this is what we been preaching and pointing out in these feed back forums as players have come here just to announce they are done. And the same week this posted was the same week you had a all time low.
We are here asking for answers, and your solution is basically, fuck this current player base, lets just get players from subscription options to fill in the empty slots of the dedicated hard core players who left. Mind you those who left just wanted communication, we just wanted answers. And you can launch onf xbox but still have many bugs, exploits, and basic game issues that chiv1 did correct, that are still broken in chiv2.

ffs who ever your team leader is that is making your decisions, please put his name out there so people can learn who the fuck to never hire. you are grabbing for straws while your foundation of dedicated players collapses in front of you.

They had a really solid community in chiv2 but after all that has transpired these last few weeks we lost alot of great individuals because of it. For both PC and especially Console players the Ray Tracing update would be a good touch up to keep the games visuals good and bring in more players on new consoles along with it being better for the high end players

For the low end players along with people on these new mid and low range GPUs Intels XeSS upscaling would be great as in games like Chivalry 2 with DX12 they perform really well, and FSR 2.1 is A MUST

FSR 2.1 would bring in a lot more players on the low end and would only take a few days to implement as the game is on UE4 and uses TAA

In Chiv 2 terms he has like 40-50 stamina while characters like Taurant have 150

I would blend the timed block and hold block together for Mirage

Like make it so when you press the block button you have 'perfect parry' which blocks projectiles and melee attacks and then after that small increment of time if you continue to hold it, it will only block melee attacks

That way the magic system is basically untouched but you still get Chiv2 combat on the melee

personally i have no issue with mirage aside the studios failure on checking the boxes to get it on steam originally. when chiv1 was made they had a amazing record breaking indie launch.
the original team chivalry, the crowd funding for the game, it was all for the chivalry game.
after they chased deadliest warrior, then mirage, they let chiv1 die with their own fans creating mordhau and leaving chiv1. (which we can go into the fact chiv1 lasted only as long as it did cause of clans and private servers)

But what would bug me is if they truly are making a mirage 2 right now i would be beyond disappointed for them. Chivalry 2s potential was great but everything they are doing screams money grab and seems to have lost the original passion and goals that were held by team chivalry. Its literally riding the coat tails of someone elses success.
everything that is wrong in a gaming studio, has been shown continuously through torn banners action. Personally i would be ashamed if i was a dev for them, being limited to the ABCs of the game industry instead of leading the way so many other indie developers are.
i know theres a handful of you who wish mirage got more love, but even if it did, knowing how they are treating chivalry, i think it would just lead to more disappointment of half assery and poor communication.
They would be better off just launching mirage on epic as a free to play game. sequels usually mean success in the first game.

i still have such fond memories playing dynasty warriors in high school. esp when a buddy comes over. but think about this...What if TBS embraced the skill melee fighting genre
just imagine if they did factions without just the same weapons, but individual unique weapons and skins. Mirage got taken off steam because a EU privacy law updated and torn banner wouldve had to update their servers and game to accommodate, something about information that the server has when you connect to it, related to your IP or location or something.

This wouldve been an easy fix but when your game has died in less than 1 day on two separate occasions, they decided it was best to use this as an excuse to take the game down.

Right now due to the state of this "King's edition" update to the game with it being unplayable on console I have uninstalled again after I reinstalled to help a newbie learn the game and tried to play TO and duels. I'm back to For Honor and Destiny 2. I love Chivalry 2 and I want this game to do well but man, It's not an enjoyable experience when Torn Banner goes. "Hey! fuck you console player, you can't counter anymore, you can't throw weapons without 1.5 second delays, you have to pickup weapons and use interactables while also pulling up the emote wheel making you unable to use stuff like catapult or ballista and most likely killing you if you pickup your weapon in a crowd of enemies. As well as that said emote wheel locks your camera forcing you to look forward and die, you can't do anything about it and I decree it." It's honestly not fun to keep playing anymore as well as not coming back until TB fixes these genuine and game breaking problems that are the REASON why this game is dying at a record pace.
