Also sometimes I like looking for friends or enemies and if I can quickly glance at what class they're playing on the scoreboard that would be cool

It would be cool if the icons weren't just class-specific, but indicative of subclasses too. For example, there is a pretty big difference between a bowman with a high KD and a skirmisher with a high KD (most would assume the bowman to be camping)

in general I don't see this as a big issue
I don't see how they can't find out if you're playing Archer or Combat Engineer by just looking at you.
on an unelated note though Engineers should get points for walls breaking to prevent that

Good archers are easily in the top scores
If they are down below is because there are not performing well... Engineers could receive some points buffs

The issue is more it'd be really easy to just vote kick the guy with the bow symbol next to his name with a bad kdr. I already see this happening and class icons would just make it easier

This is a sacrifice that I'm willing to make 😂 although I am biased. I get kicked from games for performing well, so I guess I don't have much sympathy for people who get voted for performing badly. I think the problem is vote kicking being abused.
Overall, the cool factor of being able to see the team composition in the form of class icons on the scoreboard outweighs the danger of bullying to me
You can also report players who falsely vote kick you as well
