Just relaunched our RAW server as “RAW Fresh Start Fridays”, huge endgame overhaul with no required mod downloads, 300% xp/loot, which literally wipes every Friday BUT you can bring 4 items/stacks into the new wipe 3 wipes in a row!
So if you’re 18+ and you either don’t normally have a huge attention span or you just can’t play too much, but you’d like to see a ton of stuff you’ve never seen before without having to download mods, then come join us! It’s day 1!!!

Players with goofy symbols in their names will not be allowed to join (can cause connection issues and outright bugs)

/Reward has been updated! It can only be done once every 12 hours IRL but if you vote 7 days within the week then you get a bonus reward. The command also now spawns a loot bag that awards you a Voting Token 100% of the time and something else. On your own in game, these Voting Tokens can be converted into Forged Guccinite to replace the 10/25 votes within a calendar month that Arc/Bing were trying to award manually. As always, thank you for voting for the server!

Extra entities will get removed prior to the start of a BM so there should be more zombies attacking everyone more regularly!

When the server has a lot of zombies already spawned, biomes will not prioritize outdoor zombies as much to help the indoor questing load spawn in faster!

Traders may now carry a limited supply of Barry’s Rumpled Foreskin. Silliness of name aside, this will serve as an end-game crafting material to keep more value on coins. You may find that something you want to craft now requires some of these. Especially as a21 should make gaining casino coins a bit trickier, be prepared to see increased functionality of these.

Raid bosses are BACK wandering the Wasteland (We may need to adjust the spawn rates so please let us know if they’re nowhere or they’re everywhere!) but here are some other raid boss adjustments:
- Wandering bosses drop ZERO loot
- Sleeper bosses at the Endgame platforms drop slightly LESS loot. This is mainly to discourage players from traveling to other Endgame platforms to fight at other players’ bases (which they shouldn’t be doing anyway!)
- Book-summoned bosses still drop the SAME loot as last Orchard.
- Ritual quest bags can drop “kill x boss” quests. All three types (wandering, sleeper, and book-summoned) of the three bosses (George, Jorge, and Diamond) count – So group up, share the quest, and get killin!

We are further incentivizing players to stay on and fight a horde (even if you don’t have the best base or a ton of ammo yet!): Do what you can and earn some Blood Moon Zombie Tissue which is sure to be useful for something interesting!!
- We have a brand new POI and server-side event: the Arena. This is not necessarily something that we are definitively committed to, because it may cause more problems and frustration than we anticipate, but we are trying it because it’s new, exciting, and offers a bunch of in-game and social engagement than was previously possible on BlewBarry Farms. Essentially, being in the Arena means that you can deal pvp damage to players (greatly reduced from what you can do with your weapons against zombies/bandits!) so being within viewable range from the Arena can also cause you to be a target SO BEWARE. You may say “Hey, I don’t pvp so I’m just going to stay away” and that’s fine, but there will randomly be a treasure event which will be announced on the server with a 10 minute countdown. When the timer expires, a treasure bag spawns inside the center of the arena. The bag primarily contains new-to-BlewBarry cosmetic items that only exist from this event (they also sell for 4k on day 1 to mildly entice players that don’t care about cosmetics!) but be warned that looting the treasure also takes consideration time. Try to be a good sport about getting shot, even by friends, because that is part of the point of the Arena. Again, nobody is forcing you to participate if you are going to be sour about getting attacked. For the rest of us, good luck and YOLO! Get ready for some interesting attacking and defending strategies including battle building. I know you all will be super creative - Haha – The quest AND region resets will wipe the buildings made in here, but that doesn’t mean there won’t also be fun in designing a mini stronghold and then challenging other players to come kick you out just for your own fun and amusement!

Farming Some angiosperm/gymnosperm rebalancing including craft time reduction! Also, you will now have to actually grow regular crops before you can craft angiosperm and gymnosperm seeds (and likewise for angio/gymno for hermaphroditic seeds!) because you will need dropped components from those crops. However, the recipes no longer include clay! Hermaphroditic plants are also still a combination of the better properties of angio and gymno plants but they do NOT offer seeds back now because it was a little too good (compensated by even higher yield)

Also Farming (for some of you!) Pig companion does 34% of the crop harvest bonus that it was giving, but it also now provides passive benefits to animal tracking, animal harvesting, and looting double food items

Ammo updates: 556 can now show up where 762 is & 45mm can now show up where 9mm is
(entity/quest)
- Sirenhead won’t show up at lv 1 as a sleeper, but it is still an early game threat. You also will see less of them as your gamestage increases and far less of them during a bloodmoon (as threats are supposed to move quickly in order to clear quickly and make room for more threats!)
- Expect the phoenix to be a little more of a threat now. It was simply going down a little too fast even just from 1-2 Barry tier weapons
- Cock Masters can now drop Gold Feathers (and Gold Feathers still left click for the same quest but now right click turns in for a better version item at lv 100+ [and then offers lv 100-399 rewards with a left click OR lv 400+ rewards with a right click] so use them early or save them for later!)
- Jorge’s ranged tire attack will inflict slightly less damage and more status impairment
(item/block/recipe)
- New item dye colors
- Night vision Scope as a new optics mod
- Mega Crush Soda Fountain is now an endgame, craftable block and will refill with soda/water (as long as you stay away from it or leave it filled with an item for the 5 in-game day loot refresh)
- Pooping on Timmy’s toilet has slightly increased yield (and Idol of Sterculius can now drop off Shit Lords!)
- Pig Gun has been updated for a20 and it allows you to have a pig companion on the OTHER side of yourself if you choose the pig companion. Functionally, it still hits like a vanilla smg.
- Dregs of Death is still in the game but it will be a little harder to get and has a slightly different method of acquiring as well (stats are otherwise unchanged at this time)
- DH Working Fire and Oven are still in the game, but crafting them will be more challenging since they cost no fuel to use!
- Turret Armor is a new mod that improves the durability of turrets by threefold
- Meat Mitts are gone (Don’t cry too hard! They were fun but too good. That said, the effect has been moved to the Prometheus reload. Reloading it pulses a version of this same aoe effect!)
- Prometheus also does an auto reload now when it hits the end of a magazine
- MD500 is going to be significantly harder to craft. You can still get airborn somewhat early with a vanilla gyrocopter, but ground travel is being pushed on players a little harder until you can get the resources to have the privilege of zipping through the air!
- Endgame’s Medallion of Ullr has seen it’s speed and jump boost cut about 50% (again, it’s still really damn good, but I know we’ll have to endure some wet eyes here!)
- Medallions now can craft 1:1 into Barry’s Thickpiece if you so choose
- Some additional vehicles from a19 Orchard are seeing reemergence such as the SHERP and the Duster
- Beer Goggles finally display the + 1 Int, the + 5 looting, and the 10% experience boost properly. Please message Arc as you discover other specific items that might need an updated stat listing.
- Bulbous Beast durability improved a little bit
- Silver/gold chainsaw and auger motors are still just as amazing but they generate some heat (for balance)
- Multitool is still silent, and it’s back to 6 slots for attachments
- Hot Plopping Corn is still amazing explosive damage, but they will be less effective when raid bosses and banshee queens are around specifically (which was always the goal, but we had trouble with making the xml accomplish this effectively in previous wipes)
- Companion Quest item can be crafted with endgame items so you don’t need to create new characters in order to have more than one companion available to swap out in the endgame
- Companions/Spirits now all have the ability to turn off the cosmetic visuals with F-key activate
- Animal Lover (All of the animal and spirit companions!) is now available but it’s not going to be easy to complete (and earn all of the bonuses at the same time!)
- Insoles no longer have an obnoxious particle effect that blocks your view down. Instead, it should have a cool particle effect that changes with dye on the footwear
- The medical healing mod on the robotic drone no longer passively heals you. Instead, once every 10 minutes, if you do not immediately drop to 0% health on an incoming attack, the drone will heal you significantly if it notices you fall below 20% health
- New rebreather chest mod that greatly improves your ability to not drown AND old but improved Water Wings mod will now show up early on in loot and might actually be useful to someone living near water to move around faster/safer
- Rage Blade Mod now fits on chainsaws and Barry’s Multi-Tool
- Expanded Misc block items for decoration should no longer disappear if you “loot” them even though they never have loot outside of what you place in there!
- Raid Boss and Parts Kits will now always have “both parts” rather than just having thickpieces or having no thickpieces / just having weapon parts or having no weapon parts etc

- Weapons should now function like how they used to on previous Orchard wipes (A lot of them have not been hitting hard enough because they were incorrectly ignoring the different kinds of ammo you had slotted, but they also have been silent, not displaying the PvE damage, etc)
- PvP damage in the arena POI should be just slightly decreased so there’s more of a fight!
- PvP arena lootbag takes slightly more time to loot
- Heat on the silver/gold auger motors has been slightly reduced
- Cow companion no longer has an F-activate/deactivate since it wasn’t working anyway
- Sirenhead shouldn’t naturally be showing up in Bloodmoons now
- Increased boar spawns in the forest
- Ripper description now identifies that it shoots regular 7.62 as well
- Animal Lover mod no longer has a deactivate/activate (It will return when it can be made to be displayed properly in 1st person!)
- Prometheus now counts as a magnum for the better bartering book
We are still battling CSMM to get the PvP Arena event actually occurring somewhat regularly on its own - But we'll get there!!

Just wiped and restart our RAW server if anyone wants to try it. It's still our goofy, extremely tough, long-endgame overhaul. You don't even need to download any mods to try it out (although if you want to play longer-term with lower ping, you should get the prefabs eventually!)

Well, in the last 2.5 years, I’ve probably spent around 2k hours making, testing, and fixing the overhaul. Updating to a20 took maybe 6-8 hours initially and then had some bug fixing over the following wipe for maybe another 5-10 hours from what I had to update for a20? So hopefully a21 goes smoother but we’re committed 😉

I really liked the mods on the server but with 8+ people on at the time not a single player replied to me when I said hello when joining or asking questions. Instead a few of the players chatted with each other around my posts. They seem friendly towards each other just didnt seem friendly towards a new player on the server.

Try us back in a21 since I suspect we’ll have dozens to hundreds of returning players (not at the same time, of course!) coming back to check us out on a21!
Mileage varies from individual to individual obviously but the old core player base was aways pretty damn friendly to newer players on BlewBarry so I suspect you’ll have a better experience if you give it another shot. Cheers either way!

Bandits used to be UMA (player) models that were animated in a19 and a20 but until we get whatever the new player system is in a22, we are forced to use reskins of zombie entities with prefab attachments and slightly different ai (just what is doable with xml)
But we have been pretty creative with buffs and other things to create bosses and even outdoor raid bosses which require a bunch of players in top end gear.
Our overhaul is all serverside only but it’s essentially for players who have played through vanilla on Insane and want more content and more challenge.

You can build in POIs but we do use reset regions in the major cities which prevents land claims so build whatever in cities but it will get reset about once a week
No griefing players but we solve that problem on both sides and also ask everyone to landclaim and lock everything

Its a very tough custom overhaul. But if you’re accurate and good at the game, we have players that will hit mostly best in slots in about 3 weeks when doing 5-10 hours a day. Obviously takes others longer if they’re playing less. But it’s a challenge and a brand new experience since it has a lot of stuff you’ve never seen anywhere 🙂

Always insane, our Orchard server will be wiping with a huge new batch of custom content additions (maybe a week?) including a new tier 9 boss, a ton of new custom Unity models to use our top tier weapons etc, and a ton of quality of life things like defend and t7-t10 quests properly displaying POI locations and distances now (which they should have always had)
When we wipe, it will be very popular for the first month. Then it will be pretty popular for another month. Slower players tend to take 2-3 months to go through the full content

Great time so far, map is very well made and the team has made great improvements to the additional content!

I played this mod,had the best score out of everyone by a mile and a half,this mod is NOT hard,anyone that actually plays on real hard settings will immediately notice.
What's hard is having to deal with the mod creator's lackeys who will go to war against you for having any valid criticism against them and moderators backing up their buddies,It's really sad.
Pros:1)Server is stable,I was playing from EU and the server is NA but I was getting 60ish ping that's really good.
2)There is a new enemy type introduced bandits who are fun to fight against.
Cons:
1)Extremely bloated loot tables,stinky shit(literally and when confronted main mod creator said "I dunno it's funny"),sudoku and the mod's lore shoved down your throat at every turn instead of being limited to a new container and/or limited to the traders selling them.
Continuing with the loot,from what I can tell nearly all if not all vanilla weapons' appearance have been modified...for the worse and a lot of new weapons just seem broken,can't aim properly and/or don'tlook right,I just honestly laughed when I saw the remodelled .44 that was absolute dogwater.
Btw,I followed the mod developer's own mod installing instructions so no problem there.
2)End game content in general is locked behind doing the mod's quests,it revolves around gearing up an npc called barry that looks like the bandits.
The quest is convoluted,boring and i'd rather stare at a white wall that doing the quest but unless you succumb to this dogwater,no end game for you,there's no actual alternative either.
3)I mentioned it in the beginning but it's really important, 98% of their chat is indifferent towards newcomers and downright aggressive to anyone questioning how the server was advertised vs reality.
Even when challenged and proven wrong,they will simply disregard it and move the goal post(logical fallacy) narcissism at its finest..
Credit where credit is due though they are not snowflakes,just as narcissistic as one can be.

There’s a lot of information on the discord which is linked off the website! But it’s been around and growing for over 3.5 years so there’s a lot of stuff out there and part of the fun and learning everything and evaluating it while you’re playing
We’re overdue for some server wipes (designing new content and semi unsure about when a22 drops) which is why current population is low but it’s still a great time to try it out and if you like it and you watch the discord for the @ so that you can be in with the 15-20 daily players for the first 1-2 months while people churn through the tough, expanded content! (Or whatever play-style suits you best!)

Had some run ins with a couple bosses on the Orchard server, its really nice to have an enemy that's worth taking a bunch of buffs for.
the enemy variety on this server transforms 7DTD into a whole new experience!

Yeah, like Meef said, try restarting but then also make sure you have exceptions for 7 days to be unfettered in your windows antivirus and windows firewall because if not, you’ll have a lot of latency/ping issues

After we all confirm that we can't find more bugs for me to personally squash then we'll end up having a fresh map and wipe! But this is a fun time to join if you want to start with moderate weapons for testing and only have 3 quests per tier at the trader instead of the usual 10 /tier for our 10 tiers of challenging, custom content!

We have been around for 5 years so there is a large group that plays some wipes and not other wipes, but we are averaging 5-15 online at all times of day this past week since we just wiped
I would say that the vibe is friendly with players but dedicated/persistent as gamers- it’s on insane with a large headshot multiplier but all of the custom content is designed 100% for this and there are extremely challenging enemies that you will run into a lot as you level, go into tier 7 bandit buildings, and fight the unique encounters between tier 8 and tier 10 BUT there’s also potentially very dangerous enemies just spawning in the overworld even when you’re level 1 (and it’s expected that you’ll learn to run away from those, for example)
And there’s no pvp- This is high end, custom overhaul PVE up to raid boss encounters. It was created as an attempt to make 7 Days a little bit more into an MMORPG
