There are already 4 shotguns in the game
they should remove your crosshair when aiming with guns, because sometimes it messes with me and im not sure where to shoot for a second. also, most guns dont have proper aiming stances. guns like the magnum or smg-5 (im sure there are others), dont aim with the back iron sights, and instead only use the front iron sights. its impractical and also a simple fix.
better animations

Yea, a lot of FPS's have problems w/ incorrectly realizing sight pictures and as someone who's read enough about guns to know a good bit, this urks me to no end XD

there are WASD and mouse controls, clicking LMB while in a vehicle changes the controls back and forth

More traps, even simple low-tech ones. Spike traps, pitfalls, rockfalls, etc.
Interactive furniture! Sittable chairs! Loungable sofas! A bar to smoke and drink at and a bed to pass out in!
Also workshop animations, so others can see what you're up to. This would mean a delay when you start a task, but while anyone is interacting with it after, their character could perform a looping animation of the current production.
make torches make ur base hot for realism and to make transition to electricities more gooder

so im my opinion, one of the greatest concerns is the sound for the vehicles. the 4x4 specifically. it needs a speed boost or a different sound, because when you hit the gas it sounds like a beast that could tow mountains, but in reality its slower then my grandmas wheel chair. it just feels off. the game has came ALONG way from when i used to play it on PS4 so i really appreciate the work y'all do!!

I agree with you 100% man, vehicles are slow af but they sound fast. If i'm not mistaken, one block is one meter, with shift a 4x4 goes at 14 blocks per second. Convert that to meters, 14 meters, 31~ mph or 50 kph. That's only slightly faster than usain bolt.

Separate frames from doors and windows, so frames are needed to support them, and can support replacements. This way doors and windows can be replaced or destroyed without losing structural integrity.
This would open up a lot of design and security choices. Various window tints, polarization and durability, various door textures for decoration or to signify the purposes of certain rooms or exits.

Martial forms that control crowds by throwing zombies could be helpful, and exciting, for solo and group play.
Spearfishing! Spearfishing fish, spearfishing zombie fish. This should be considered before any fishing minigame (which I hope hasn't been suggested or considered at all, though I suppose a non-action sequence could generate suspense with zombies present.)
Model damage for everything, players, vehicles, robots, turrets, traps and triggers, so you can tell at a glance when they've been damaged and estimate the severity.

Strike decals, so damaged blocks don't all look the same, they should have the marks of anything that damaged it. These could be layered, so a block that's been punched, pickaxed, sledged and shot would have the impacts of each.
Using nurbs surfaces you could morph the shape of it, so there would be dents where picks and sledges hit, pocks where bullets sunk into it.
better ground textures
Scent indicators. These creeps won't be shambling up to your without the reek of death, and if you're walking into a mob of sleepers, the stench should make it obvious how big a mob that is.
You wouldn't need those big cheesy difficulty displays if you just indicated how ghastly the smell of an area is.

Can something be added where if you die by a zombie or while being infected when you go to get your backpack you'll have to kill a zombie version of your old character to get your stuff back
What if Vendors could be powered? A powered vendor could have its inventory perused remotely (But you still need to travel to the vendor physically to buy!)

There should be an option to have set times for the blood moon to rise or specific days of the week- It has become very stressful for my group because some of us dont get on untill the bloodmoon is about to happen and prefer not to join when it has started. alot of us also dont get on daily compared to the other half

you can make it 2 hours long somehow?
you mean IRL time and days i presume? if it's a dedicated server that's always up, you could use the workaround of setting day length to 24hrs and bloodmoon every 7 days, and launching the server at the irl time you want them to happen.

I mean... There are options for how many towns, wilderness POIs, lakes, cracks, ect... but we need one for traders too. Make doing no trader worlds easy so we don't have to use a mod for it.

and last but not least... Exactly WHAT is the chance to get a waterfilter from destroying a Dew Collector? (It's looting the destroyed dew collectors I learned and it's VERY low. 10-15% is fair isn't it??)

to be able craft magazines(from scraped ones) - personally I dont like the magazines at all and would rather have some diff system
more building materials would be nice
It would be nice if the burnt and wasteland biome be mixed into one and ARWG shoud have more options like kinggen or teragon, also options to have bigger cities and it would be nice if the poi's that people create in prefab editor and navezgane only poi's (like bridges crossing rivers) be incluted in the ARWG maps, and maybe a motorhome that has the campfire and work station into it with bigger storage that way you dont have to go back and forth as much leaving more time to do more questing or looting on the go, also the option to turn on/off cop vomit and demo blow up or not.
pipe pistol should use both 9mm and .44 rounds if its the starter gun for the agility tree. what gave me this idea was that it is effected by magnum enforcer vol 4 allowing you to get better deals. i think the best way to combat the power of it using .44 rounds is to make it take more damage per use compared to using 9mm.
maxing out "the huntsman" perk should only take a fortitude of 7 like all the other harvesting perks
hordes at normal nights (but way weaker), nights are too safe
Katana
TFP should add some way for the player vendors to appear on the map to encourage people to use them more. One possibility I've mentioned in a forum post is to allow a player to connect power to their vendor, and when powered the vendor would show up on the map as an icon available to everyone.

Server search should allow you to look for games with higher/lower amount of days played so you can know whether or not a server has a well established community, was recently wiped, etc.
I would enjoy alternate skins for weapons. Such as a combat knife instead of a hunting knife, or a kitchen knife instead of a bone knife, different models of pistols, Kukri instead of Machete, Boxing Gloves instead of Leather Gloves, etc. Could have a lot of fun with that!

Why? It's just to add variety to the visuals.

The point is it's the same gun, just with an alternate skin to add variety.
The devs have already said no more weapons will be added, but skins should be much easier than adding whole new weapons, balancing the stats, etc.

that was talked about before.. and if you look at game made in Unreal called Satisfactory
they took that idea and made use of players electricity cabling to allow players to use powerlines for zipping around
sure there should be balancing and limitations, cause that game is more build oriented and 7d2d is more Survival oriented
but.. you know, Ziplines 🙂
NPC drivers, driving dangerously.
Infection metamorphosis, to demonstrate how someone succumbs to infection. Not just players, but also NPC's. Their mental condition may also gradually degrade, out of a combination of desperation and pathogenic neurological disorder.
Zipline sounds good, I also just appreciate when Satisfactory gets brought up. It's catharsis the video game.
Ziplines would add an extra avenue for escaping from a hoard base if it fails.
I would like the ability to use snow to make slushies for hot environments. I don't see the smoothie in the crafting menu but I think that was for cold enviroments too which I did not agree with.
All weapons can become strong when having the maximum mod on them but they can be stronger if all weapons can have 1 or 2 unique mods for them?
Thanksgiving should change chickens to turkeys
An interesting idea that I'd like to see implemented is some type of remote opener for garage doors while in vehicles. Saves time instead of getting out of the vehicle to open the door or wiring up trigger plates.
i have a list ofthings that might add more fun to the game, im not good with making mods or videogames or else i would have made it myself,
dog companion that you can train with books to do various tasks/tricks also armor or backpack for protection /storage, you need to keep it save/healthy or it turns into a zombie dog
a zoo with like special zombie unit called the zookeeper that can send the zombie animals to attack you, the zombie animals are zombie rhino,zombie elephant,zombie lions/tigers, zombie bears, zombie gorilla but for that unit i have more ideas, as you notice all the big/predator animals
an overhaul to the shoveling mechanics would be easier- more fun like in life is fuedal where you can lower/ elevate the terrain pretty easy
to come back to the Gorilla zombie, have like a Forest biome with good loot there thats protected by a silverback and zombie chimpanzee's that like jump down from the trees and hit you hard.
ocean biome with boats, fish for cooking, maybe zombie sharks and big octopuses that attack your boat and your charachter
different kinds off animations for eating things, i know that there is a mod for it but would be nice if its vanilla.

Something that I hope can be implemented: If you set a land claim block on a POI (within the bounds of the claim), disable the rally point so you can place blocks at that coordinate, instead of having to go into creative mode to circumvent it.
