The most difficult is Nuke. First because it random temper changes, the fact he is venomous you still don’t want to get bit even tho it’s nothing (for me at least). Enclosure is huge as well so a lot of cleaning and such of that. They also just mock a viper really well and are extremely fast and agile

yes, I have adopted 6 adult dogs, and the two babies that were bottle fed in my time. Not including the 6 adults. I've also adopted two 1yr old house bunnies recently, just last year. I have 8 ducks and 8 chickens I hand raised. I have a 4 and 6 year old little boys. I will not put my children or my small animals in any kind of danger. I could not get pregnant again, I could only have my two sons. I was not done. I lost two 13 yr old dogs last year to cancer, two differnt kinds. So yes, I chose a local reputable breeder. I will not chance any kind of emotional of abuse trauma adult babes on my little family. I've done my time and deed with that. I have always rescued and fostered. Yes, I choose a puppy to pay for this time. I deserve it. You never know someones circumstances. I wanted another baby so bad, but I cannot. This is what worked for my familly. But yes, what you preach is what should be, if applicalble to the family.

Definitely agree with the sentiments here. We have mostly adopted, but we have also purchased dogs from reputable breeders. It's really okay either way because you are supporting good treatment of animals who need it. It's the puppy-mills / pet-mills that you want to withhold support from, so they will stop their animal abuse.

That said, it's a good policy to adopt whenever you can, and to get your animals fixed to help reduce the numbers of abandoned ones.

but it's super fun to look through, and you can learn a lot! They have quail, chickens, ducks, turkeys, guenia, peacocks, etc. I have used them 3 times. They do hatching eggs, 48 hour babies, "teenager" age birds, and adults. I think they are in Cali. I am in Alabama and I am able to track the babes as they travel. Most of it is by plane. So the babes are shipped shortly after hatching, and they their little umbilical cord feeds them while hatching, they are safe and fed for 72 hours after breaking free from shell. They do give them a scoop of green gel which keeps them hydrated and if it's cold there is a little heating pad under them. Anyways. I get my first chickens soon so I am excited. But I've used them twice for ducklings. 10/10 🙂

YES I have my first mini dachshund, she's 13 weeks now. I will stick with this breed for life. I've always had large dogs. But I researched weens for a long time. It's the perfect breed for me. I don't plan on ever leaving her alone, she's absolutely perfect. I will say be very careful, I had my heart broken a few times. Talking to folks for weeks then finding out the puppies are fake and they were scammers.

Yes she's my first one, before her i had a husky and a sarplaninac but even as she's a lot smaller still can be a handful sometimes, i can't let her walk up and down on stairs because she's prone to have back injuries, oh and taking her to big walks is a nother adventure she barks at anyone who she can't recognise but at the same time she wants to be petted by them so it's comical sometimes that she hides behind my legs comes out to bark again then retreats there again 😆

Yes at 3 months she was taken out regularly for a little walk but as much as she likes to play with other dogs she's barking a lot at people, i believe it's a firstborn thing because in the litter she was dominating her sisters and brothers and got used to it but rarely she goes over to others for a quick sniffing so i'm guessing it's a long process for her 😄

it will be lots of fun in the first few months! then as she grows stubbornness will come but it can be handled with distractions such as a tiny gadget i got that gives off a sharp clicking sound that can get her attention but it's all about socialization. That is a good weight for them yes and if i remember they should be around 12 pounds on their first year, mine went to 13 so i'm giving her cooked chicken breast now and anything that doesn't have too much fat in it and for snack she gets these chew-rolls but i noticed what they say on the internet is not entirely true about walking because even our vet says that they should only walk about 30 mins or about 1 km a day, yet mine is dragging me around after an hours' walk too so we play fetch to burn the rest of her excess enegies but sometimes even that isn't enough xD

Malagasy Fish Scale Gecko

Native to Malagasy, Madagascar a small gecko species that preys on small invertebrates, Crickets, Isopods and tree beetles. They are one of the rarest geckos that you can own in captivity as captive breeding is almost impossible to find and also finding them in the wild is extremely difficult since they are high up in the mid canopy area with dense fog and precipitation. This is a beautiful male as females are lighter in cooler and iridescence. This is a breeding project of mine since this is a wild caught specimen named Rain. Eventually I will be getting a female for him who will be named Misty and hopefully produce some eggs and the first to do so in Nevada and possibly the western side of North America

they all look adorable :0 When i was a kid our first dog was a dobermann i can't remember his name then there was a husky who at that time we didn't knew that needs a lot of freedom and eventually escaped one night then we found him then escaped again and we played this for many years 😄 of course he got the biggest walks we could give him but regardless he didn't approved the size of the garden he was housed in. To keep him company we bought a sarplaninac too and later a girl sarplaninac too so there was 3 of them and yes they ravaged the garden qq but after they passed away there was a long time i didn't wanted any pets, but my mom decided to no turn down an adoption of a cat and since then i moved to the uk and now i have the ween Pickles 😄

Yeah I was gonna say they are extremely invasive! Tho cool little guys and do help quite a lot with the ecosystem in Florida. Technically a good invasive species. They help drastically with Mosquitos and fly populations there

Also hybrid breeding in the wild has been going up in % the past couple years, I wouldn’t be shocked if they have bred with the Carolina species and other Cuban species that are invasive.

Oh yes we had to run next door for tornado scare last week and it was pouring rain and Piper was going CRAZY while I held her and ran next door 😅 no nader came, and I hate that it was just one more thing to make her potentially scared of the rain. yes i can imagine as just now there's a thunderstorm alert in effect here too i was just 2 mins from home with her and started raining and had to pick her up as i outran her with her tiny legs 😂 but yes as odd it sounds they get used to these things the more they are exposed to it, like there's Pickles like 2 weeks ago her stopper gate fell off from it's place as i accidentally kicked the frame that keeps it on the wall and came down with a lound bang, needless to say she sprinted on top of the couch to assert dominance against it xd and for many days she didn't came over every time i left for work out of scaredness but came closer to that spot every day and now she's okay with being there knowing that it was that loud spot 😄

I have 5 with 4 different species. All of them are very cool and different in their own respective ways. This is my personal favorite the Malagasy Fish Scale Gecko which are extremely hard to find in the US. From my knowledge their is about 100 or so in the USA currently

Favorite because people have no clue they exist because they are very hard to find in the wild as well but also just because it’s the only gecko to have iridescence likely a rainbow. Some other species have that ability just not the full color palette like these guys. One of the few to be able to have full range of color just from iridescence

5 girls are in a XXl pet taxi and the 3 littles that got hurt/killed (2 were decapitated one was hurt but ok) sleep in a xxl dog crate that has hardware cloth. those are in a shed. the racoon was able to peel the hardware cloth open some and stick his hands in. he ONLY stuck his hands in and took two heads off and his claws ripped at Noodles chest. she just has a small hole. It's possible he attempted to pull/drag them out from the small hole he made. but.. yeah wasn't able.... the shed has damage from the last hurricane we had. we did our best to repair it but the crates have kept them safe for 2 years we've had the ducks 😦 we really think it's the neighbors cat problem & feeding the cats they put bowls out all over their property and kept mentioning the coons stealing all the food

we even zip tie the crates at night
because racoons can open and manipulate all kinds of latches switches and doors

the crate covered in hardware cloth

it's all just so sad man that he only put his hands in maybe his arms and got them
it's a huge crate i don't understand
Fern is in teh same one with the 3 littles
she is ok
tonight we put everyone on teh back porch, covered screened in deck with cameras and dogs
