And all I get is the same message.

I am simply trying to fix whatever reason I have stopped getting twitch drops associated with my account.

Last time it was Medal crashing the game. This time it is WhatPulse, a monitoring software. Only crashes when playing PUBG and just started today (despite having played PUBG for a few weeks.) Qt5core.dll. Tried replacing dll, didn't fix.

hello, im having problems running PUBG and been scrouring the net for solutions. seems to want to install .net framework 3.5 im running win11 and installing the framework doesnt work. also not sure why its complaining about directx everything is installed running other games with no problems. the installation that pops up fails due to a "certificate" mismatch...im lost

@inner garden I just had the same Framework 3.5 error and had to install. Windows 11 too. "The .NET Framework is created by Microsoft and provides an environment for running applications. If you see this pop-up, you're trying to run an application that requires the .NET Framework version 3.5, but that version is not installed on your system."

I am currently dealing with an issue that is leaving the game completely unplayable. Randomly, the game will freeze (but ambient audio will continue) for about 5 minutes, eventually returning to lobby with a Battleye Query Timeout error. I do get a prompt to reconnect to the game, but instantly fails and gives the same error (no freeze). And due to this, I'm concerned its tanking my reputation level since I'm leaving games, but I'm not too sure how important that is anyway.

• I have deleted the Battleye folder in C:/Program Files/Common Files
• I have deleted config files in AppData/Tslgame
• I have completely reinstalled the game and reconfigured my personal user settings (pain in the butt, but I did).
• I have updated my graphics drivers
• I have verified no firewall is on.
• I have reinstalled WINDOWS 10 to a fresh install.

I've been playing the game for like 5 years and never experienced anything like this... Super frustrating. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions to troubleshoot?

Yeah, I get the occasional hitch but the game resumes normally. But often times its what I described above. Would be tolerable if I could just reconnect to the match I DC'd from, but the game makes that impossible. While reconnecting to a match, the game errors out, but if I join a NEW game, it seems to connect to that new lobby just fine. :/

not tolerable even if you can reconnect. I say this because i literally just took a plane to the middle of the circle...landed...disconnected..and could not reconnect. Assuming someone was waiting in the middle (which is normal) and killed me. So even reconnecting sucks.

Confirmed yet again the freezing is still happening after I did some driver updates. I'm at a complete loss. Spent 10+ hours and 3 reformats on my own to fix the issue to no avail. For real, if anyone can at least help point me in the right direction that would be dope. I'm guessing it's connected to Wellbia and its interaction with either the OS or my storage hardware.

For us to gather more information on the reasons you’re crashing we are needing to grab your latest crash dump files.

This can be found by going to the following directory on your PC

C:\Users\”YOUR-PC-LOGIN-NAME”\AppData\Local\TslGame\Saved\Crashes
Or

If you have Windows 10, you can use the Windows search area using the following command.

Once you find the match which you had experienced the issue, are you able to please right click the file and click send to Compressed (Zipped) folder.

Depending in the size of the crash file, you’ll be able to drag and drop the compressed folder via a DM to myself or the this channell. If the Crash file is larger in size, then you might have to use Google Drive or a file storage website to be able to upload the crash dump file. I’ll be able to download them from my end and get them forwarded to the QA team.

If you're running 4.6.x then it might be your problem. I've seen a lot on the internet about 4.6 causing issues. I reverted back to 4.5 today and it seems ok so far. Try closing it first and see if that works.

I've looked into the dump files and it kept showing me some C0000005 error which would indicate an issue with pubg & ram but I seen others on the internet say the same and it seemed to be MSI afterburner. Maybe it's to do with how it's hooking with the anticheat or something. TRy closing MSI afterburner first and see if it runs without crashes.

I crashed a lot in squads last night and closing it seemed to stop the crashing.

4.6 was fine before pubg 15.1 , I guess their efforts with the anticheat/f2p patch is a bit more harsh on some of the features in 4.6.

@heady sedge I was running msi to keep an eye on temps etc and after about 3/4 games I would crash. Then every time I loaded back in it would crash within 5 minutes. I turned off msi, loaded back in and never crashed again.

Potential fix for frequent crashing + Severely degraded performance:

Several players confirmed that the cause of their issues were corrupt windows files.

After making sure all windows updates are installed, running system file check as well as DISM has helped resolve the issues.

Just to update, my freezing instance is still happening regularly. I attempted to open a ticket with PUBG support but they left the ticket open for 6 days and then closed it after telling me a 'patch should fix the issues' . I have reopened a ticket. I'm not sure if this will help anyone, but I seem to have resolved an issue which was causing the game to indefinitely hitch. It would freeze the game, but never actually crash. I'm thinking, depending on how your PC is configured, different systems will react differently to the same problem so I'm just going to throw out some random stuff that I did that seemed to make it go away.

• I have a network switch in my network. I powered it down and back up. If you have a router AND a switch, restart both. Router first, then switch. I'm not sure if this impacts anything, but it was something I did prior to fixing my issue so I can't for certain say it was or was not the root to my issue.
• Here's where I think I resolved the problem. I have a Corsair K70 keyboard. It has a 'BIOS' switch with 4 toggle settings. 1, 2, 4, and 8. These are millisecond response time settings, and its there so your keyboard can have a variable config so it works in older bios systems if you need to slow it down. Around the time that my problems began I switched it from 8ms (slow) to 1ms (fastest). When I did this, I believe the keyboard triggered some strange intermittent interaction with Windows calling for .NET framework that it needed to operate. I finally managed to get the game to force close (instead of freeze) and have Windows Features pop up with the dialogue box that a an APP needed .NET Framework. I did this by closing iCUE (Corsair's hardware customization app) prior to playing PUBG. Ever since I received this pop up, I have yet to have another freeze/crash. It is entirely possible that this was COINCIDENCE, but I was streaming my troubleshooting process and the very same game I decided to switch the keyboard from 8ms to 1ms, this crash/.NET pop up occurred.

I regret not clicking 'Tell me more about this feature' to see if I got data on WHICH app called for it, but I missed the opportunity. I'll check Event Viewer to see if any info is there.

Another follow up to my issue:

I played a little bit last night. iCUE was running (corsair hardware config software). When exiting from a game back to lobby, the game just froze on the loading screen. Could not change focus to another window. I closed iCUE and switched my keyboard from 2ms to 8ms (which also simulates unplugging and plugging in the keyboard USB device). It unseized the game. No longer had that freeze.

There is seriously some strange interaction with pubg and either iCUE or my corsair keyboard. Not sure if it's just me or not. Just something strange going on, and so far just an issue in PUBG.

I’d just use msi to do any overclocks on start up and you don’t need to open it unless you want statistics from riva tuner. I’ve given up looking at my temps etc now as they are always ok, only kept an eye on them the first month I bought the PC as I’ve only recently made the switch from console to PC. I just use the nvidea overlay for fps now or you can just use steam to see the fps.

Potential fix for frequent crashing + Severely degraded performance:

Several players confirmed that the cause of their issues were corrupt windows files.

After making sure all windows updates are installed, running system file check as well as DISM has helped resolve the issues.

I've only found that closing them help's somewhat. The crashing and performance is abysmal since 15.1. I don't know how many crash reports I've sent and it's yet to be even acknowledged by the Devs.

I've done a clean install of Windows, bought a new m.2 and all the other shit you can think of and it still randomly crashes. Seems to crash more on squad's than solos though. I can't pinpoint the problem. I've analysed the crash reports and it just says pubg is the cause of the crash..

For the past 2 months I've been dealing with random "Lost Connection to Host 16.1.6" then some random code that may vary, I've noticed mostly when I'm playing EU servers (from NA).
Sometimes I'll get 6 disconnects in 1 game, sometimes only one, sometimes none. I've been playing on Wifi for 2 years and never had this issue until the game went free 2 play.

My PC specs:
AMD 5900X
Gigabyte X570S Master (previously x570 pro wifi) default bios settings
64GB DDR4 3200mhz
EVGA RTX 3080 xc3
Samsung 2TB 980 Pro (game drive)
Samsung 960 EVO (OS drive)

So far what I've done to try and resolve this issue:
-Reset my router
-Reset my modem
-release/renew DNS
-tried different DNS
-disable firewall/set exemptions
-Full windows install at least 20 times.
-Steam and PUBG reinstall
-Tried different accounts
-Changed steam and pubg install location
-Changed NVMe drives
-Changed motherboard
-Used two different built-in Wifi in mobos, Wifi6 AX and 6E
-2.4Ghz and 5ghz

What might seem to solve the issue:
-Connect to VPN full
-Wired connection (temporary, not an option at the moment)
-Playing only NA servers
-Wifi AC1300 (this one is hard to confirm, tried 4-5 games no disconnects)

I've sent my main account on main PC and an alt account on a laptop in a game on the same network to AFK.
My main account and PC got disconnected while laptop stayed in the game.

Sorry for the rant or whatever. Not really sure the point of this post, maybe just to vent but there's so very little information about this issue.
It's been a long frustrating journey and I'm out of ideas.

Does anyone get ridiculous frame drops especially when driving around and through fields? Or near towns. I have a pretty high end machine with a 2060 (regular) and play on the lowered graphics settings including render distance. Except shadows which are on high. But whenever I drive near a town or through a field my frames dip down to unplayable. I'm talking less than 5. For about 20 seconds and then it seems to catch up but not always. Does this happen with anyone else? My pubg install is on its own separate ssd with about 1.8tb of space so thays not it either. It seems to mainly be a problem on Erengul while driving but has happened on Taego and I think maybe Sanhok but definitely less often.

Whenever I go into a game, it takes about 60 seconds and then I get a network delay, it can't be because of my internet, does anyone know the problem?

If your game is on a slow harddrive then it's probably not loading fast enough into the lobby and by the time your game loads the lobby the game has already started? It shouldn't take 60 seconds to load into the lobby. That's your computer/ harddrive.

on a scale from 1-10, its about an 8

8.4 for the 3060ti, 8.8 for 3070, 9 for 3070Ti, 9.5 for 3080, 9.9 for 3080Ti, and a 10 for 3090

at least thats the way I see it, relative to their performance (oops, sorry for going offtopic, I just noticed its not general chat)

This is no different than the usual steps which don't resolve the crashing brought on by 15.1. There's no mention of closing MSI afterburner or RivaTuner which the anticheat now conflicts with since 15.1, which causes crashes. What other overlay programs have the anticheat affected? GeForce Experience (which I'm sure a lot of people have installed for ease of driver updates, recording, etc..)

However, closing msi afterburner and rtss doesn't work for everyone - especially those who don't even use it. Something happened in 15.1 which initiated these crashes for many people. The crashes for me were inconsistent with MSI & RTSS. Closing sometimes resolved it and sometimes it didn't. I sometimes managed to play multiple hours with them running and only experienced crashing playing squad games. Something changed in the game that is causing a conflict somewhere (imo) - because it was 15.1 that brought on a lot of stuttering/ fps drops for people too.

Yep, I knew the second I heard that console was having a problem with this patch that it was going to come over to us. This is why PUBG is hemorrhaging people.

There's definitely issues with connection at the moment. I don't think it's just Swede's, I think something changed with routing or servers. I find bullets not registering and a lot of desync lately. I also see player movements aren't completely smooth either (even on high FPS). Which to me sounds like server lag of some sort.

After the update (Patch 16.2) PUBG too much just too much using CPU, as a result the temperature rises a lot. Please fix it...

There is an easier way, , so clearing game caches, from previous patches in %localappdata% / tslgame/ D3D game files, it can help A LOT 🙂 mine was at 200+ MB, and from previous patches, etc. so it can conflict,.

DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 CAN help you with packet loss, so that it almost prevents dsync - it's server side, and when you use the google dns' it can help alleviate /some/ of the pain

the packet loss still happens, and is visible, but much less delayed with this DNS , tested vs 1.1.1.1 as well, google was better

Try to set DirectX Version on DirectX 11 Enhanced and restart the game.

Also, Delete the d3d caches in %localappdata% tslgame

Previous patches changes seem to disagree with caches created in current game after changes were applied.

Make this a new habit to clear on patch, and if you start getting crashes.

You could try using Nvidia's NIS system

its similar to DLSS but for non RTX cards

basically renders at a lower res the upscales for the game

less intense on your GPU

since 16.2, has anyone been having dwm.exe crash on them while playing? It crashes 3 or 4 times in a row causing the game to briefly freeze then comes right for the rest of the night. Only happening to me in PUBG though, other games and within Windows itself is fine

@olive blaze turn off fullscreen optimization on the games exe. It's conflicting with desktop windows manager. Are you using multiple screens? Maybe your pubg is not in fullscreen mode?

my report is not about a bug but like because of updating too much pubg has started to lag on my pc. It has good specs like gta1050ti, Ryzen5, 8gb ram, 144hz but because of too much updates the textures graphics and everything is getting high so if you guys could reduce these somehow it would be really helpful, then it will make the game more fun :D
