A lot of the crashes on series S are memory related as they don't have as much as the series X or the one x

That can’t be the issue though. My friend plays on a One S and crashes noticeably less than me

The one S also reserves less for the GPU and isn't rendering at 60fps

To be clear, I'm in no way saying that crashing is "justified" by this, but it is something that should be considered.

By and large, the gaming industry isn't particularly fond of the Series S for a number of reasons and memory limitations is one of them

Also worth noting is that we are currently only supporting backwards compatability (which always has its own issues) and until a true next gen update is applied, not all the system resources are available (SDK limitations)

don't need to download anything or whatever, just go through control panel and find your Visual C++ Redistributable corresponding to what Window you have (x64 / x86) and hit uninstall and then just Repair
seems to have worked for me instead of all the reinstalling guides regarding this dll I found online

sounds like you are having some issues with steam download servers. Clear your steam download cache and select the next closest download server, restart steam and try downloading the update

I have the same issue, I once said on reddit to add a reconnect option, I know what my problem is and that could be the same for you. My ISP is "restarting" my router every 24h and giving me the new IP address (this happens 24h after the router was booted). During that time my network is not available for 1-3 seconds, like you say, everything continues to work fine but PUBG is showing a network lag on the screen and only thing I can do i to wait for the game to kick me after few minutes than reconnect or to restart the whole game. A simple reconnect option would save me a lot of time.

I’ve tried all settings. They all end up with similar frame rates with more or less usage depending on the settings

The low usage happened once I swapped my gpu. I had a 1060 and it would work at 99% in game. Also, My gpu usage only runs low in this specific game

No thermal throttles either. CPU@ ~40C in game, gpu@ ~60C but really depends on the usage. 73C max 100% load in benchmark

The lower the resolution / scaling / graphical setting such as textures, view distance the lower the gpu utilization and more usage is being shifted to cpu. Seeing that you have tried all settings I do not have anything more to suggest.

Hard to say. High latency is typically a function of one of two things: large geographical distance to the server you're testing against, or bad routing from your ISP. Neither of which are really in your control. Sometimes users are able to try testing with a VPN in place to get around some of their ISP's routing to see if that is the issue, but that's slightly more difficult on an Xbox since you would need the VPN engaged at the router level.

Your thermal paste needs to be removed and replaced with higher quality stuff. Sony put some low quality paste that doesn’t do well under stress. Your system is shutting down as a safe guard by killing the processor to keep it from overheating. This is a known issue. For my original PS4 Pro two smokes would shut me down every time but only if I was in the cloud. Replacing the thermal paste fixed the issue.

Not without major graphics downgrades, and even then its no guarantee.

UHD 630 is a built in cpu graphics card. It’s nowhere near the minimum requirements for the game, best solution is to buy a graphics card (doesn’t have to be very expensive)

EDIT: Like if I play erangel or miramar its always when phase one is about to close.. the second lag/disconnection comes when the blue have moved a fourth (in the bar) on phase 2

If its happening consistently then that suggests its potentially your connection or routing.

Do you have an alternative internet connection you can use to see if the issue continues?

If the PC is losing power and fully restarting then that often points to a hardware fault, usually with the PSU. Different games tax systems in different ways which means the fault can sometimes only present itself under certain conditions. I've had a similar fault that only showed up when playing World of Warcraft, yet didn't occur in any other game or benchmark/stress test.

I have been having the same problem since ever they had the pgi 2021 event update. Before that my game was fine. I have done all sorts of troubleshooting and no luck. Whats weird is that I can play training mode just fine for the entire time but the moment I go into arcade or a live game, the game freezes and my computer restarts 5 min, sometimes 15 min into the game. In that case I'd recommend reinstalling your GPU drivers

that error itself is related to battleye and isn't specific to PUBG, so support that I can offer is limited.

Sounds like steam isn't installing things correctly

If I'm crashing repeatedly right after an update, the first thing I do is a clean reinstall of the game to make sure everything is as it should be.
