@little timber This may be something you need to discuss with steam support. We don't control how steam distributes updates or installs them so I can't advise further.
Generally steam will automatically redownload corrupted or missing files if they fail verification after the update has been applied. In some cases this can require all files to be reaquired.

Is it legal to set keybindings by modifying GamesUserSettings.ini in an editor? I'd like to change:
(ActionName="ToggleMissionList",Keys=((Key=P)))
This binding is not available in the keybinding settings ingame.
Edit: ToggleMissionList doesn't work at all as of 10.1. I managed to fix it by reloading settings from clouds in 10.1, but this method does not work in 10.2. Bug has been reportet in the correct channel. Just looking for an alternative workaround.

How can I get more FPS on pc, max I’m getting is 62fps (players unknown battlegrounds). Pubg lite I get 300fps. Is unknown limited to 62 or is there setting I can change to get more?

@neon drift Seems odd. It should be around 120 fps at least on medium settings. Did you try to run it on very low to see if it changes anything ? also which resolution are you playing on ? What cpu temperatures you got (laptop's cpus might get pretty hot very quick) ?
@neon drift is the energy saving on your laptop set to maximum performance ? (battery settings)
@neon drift also try see in the pubg settings in nvidia control panel you showed in the screen if there is no fps cap for the game
Also try to disable the "smooth fps" in pubg itself.

i have putted everything on very low and disabled everything except v-sync and get less than 50 fps
and inside smokes i get 10-20 fps
you're welcome! I had something similar when was using my alienware laptop, it was saving energy by cutting power even with connected power cable 🙂 glad it helped
it's a setting in windows, try to right click on your battery at right down side, it will give you a hint where to look for that. Also I am not sure what hardware you got, it might be a totally different reason for your low fps

I know this might be juvenile, but I didnt get credit for the three kills I had in the game. To be fair the third kill happened after I was killed but it did show up on my screen in game when I was spectating. I finished the match at 15:25 hours CST. Just wondering if something can be done. This has happened before. It does appear I got all the damage points. Curious.
The last one wont show up in the ingame statistics, but on external statistics pages. Dunno about the other 2 though. Was it on haven?

@wintry sorrel I've looked at your match history and what you are stating isn't correct. The ones where you had high bot ratios appeared to be during off peak times for NA, but the majority of your matches have had minimum bots.

all the games the i played this night, it starts counting when there are only 15 or 20 players actually in game and it jumped up to 100 players when there are 5 seconds left

@celest panther Please stop ignoring these bot-heavy match reports. It's clearly warrants further investigation as a possible bug. If it was actually random you wouldn't expect to only get games which were 20% players 80% bots and vice versa, you'd expect there to be at least some in the middle. The behaviour of the lobbies is very odd - it triggers the start of match with a very low number of players in the lobby which just doesn't give anyone any time to join the match.
For example, I've just joined EU FPP squads - the match start countdown began when there were just 14 players in the lobby! It only took a few seconds to connect. I can't believe that 3PM UTC on a Saturday is that empty on EU servers that you can't wait a bit longer. Or is this a problem with individual accounts, and if so what can we do to resolve it? I've played for thousands of hours and dozens of matches recently - I don't want to face 80 bot lobbies.

Do you know what controller preset you're on? If preset A, tap left trigger to toggle ADS. You can change to preset B if you prefer to hold left trigger for ADS.

There are several criteria for how matches are created and when the timer starts.
Firstly, a new lobby is created either when a minimum player number is reached, or when the timer hits 3 minutes. If one of those "3 minute" lobbies is created, anyone who queues will be placed into that lobby with very little waiting time as its given priority.
The timer in game starts after the following is met
In all cases, there is a minimum wait time regardless of meeting the criteria. This is to allow players to load in
After that the following apply
- The minimum player count is reached
- The match is full
- The maximum wait timer is reached (which starts the timer regardless of player count)
A player that leaves matches and requeues is also likely to be reconnected to the same game they left, unless they wait until the timer ends.
Please be assured, none of the mentions about this have been ignored, however the information i've been given has not demonstrated an issue. I cannot review data from matches that players didn't participate in, so if thats what is happening then it wasn't mentioned until just recently.

Today I had no kills in squads for like 5 games and then I won a game in duos with 9 kills only and I got banned. I just got unbanned 24 hours ago and this happened to me.

@celest panther thank you for the reply - https://pubglookup.com/players/steam/qmunke here is a report of my matches from Sunday, as you can see the Squad FPP matches on either end of my graph there show a massive disparity in player-bot ratio compared to solos and duos - the five latest matches were all back-to-back and the other squads match was earlier in the day. If it is just a case of FPP unranked squads being low population then is it possible to at least get that confirmed? If that was the case I'd have expected more people to be complaining to be honest! If there is anything I can do in order to help you diagnose this any further please let me know.

I can't see data on matches you didn't participate in. If you were leaving matches without playing them then I personally can't track the issue as your match history won't show one.

Then there is likely no issue in this case simply because the number of bots you encounter is also related to a hidden MMR

Since update 10.2 I get a full PC reset crash atleast once a day. My PC is only 2 months old and I haven’t had any issues with the game up to this point.

I’ve tried all that before, and there is no differences between squad or solo squad, or even 2,3-man squad. I tried to contact the support team by raising a ticket, and they’ve forwarded my ticket to the relevant department. Im still waiting for their response. However, i’ve entered normal queue, seem like the problem has been resolved (or at least for me) since i submitted the ticket.

Game crashed again. Vikendi as I hopped out of a car. I can count on crashing every other game now. Xbox series S. Why is no one at pubg helping me with this?
I’ve tried reinstalling but that didn’t help. Not noticing any dips in frames. Frame counter stay at 60 except in the lobby I get some screen flickering, but in game it’s buttery smooth until it crashes.
I've acknowledged multiple times that we are aware of the crash rate. You personally can't make any changes.

L-S-sng has been like this for a long time. you need to use VPN like ExitLag to fix the high ping.
Then that sounds like a routing issue you should speak to your ISP about.
If the issue goes away when using a VPN then that suggests the route used isn't the best. We don't control that route.
yea. already switched to a different ISP but same thing still happened.
I will ask our ISP to fix it, but not sure what to tell them if they ask for the info about the server.
I've had similar issues in the past where there was a strange route being taken and everyone with my ISP had the same issue. They solved it after it had been reported.
I would definitely mention to them that when using a VPN to connect to the same servers that the issue goes away

Hi, Yes, in game like you would report a player normally. There is an option you can choose. If you have the the replay still go into and report the player from there.

Hi Im having troubles with the game quite this time. First, when I press the mission button either daily, weekly or challenge from the lobby sometimes the sudden music come out. Im not sure the theme of it but it frequently happens to me. Second, the mission ui flicks as maybe the sentences are too long. And last, I cannot play the highlights in replay. When I press H, it does go to the first highlight but it shows black screen with no highlights playing at all. So I just press J and see myself. Three issues I experienced so far.

Hello ! I have a monitor with a 5120x1440 resolution but i want to play pubg on 2560x1440 and that's only possible in borderless / windowed but the cursor keeps getting out of the game. This does not happen in games like OW where i'm forced to do the same thing.
Hello. Ever since the last maintenance this past week my audio is messed up, I use a HyperX Quadcast S mic. I though it was a mic software issue however after resetting my audio completely as well as testing the issue on all my other steam games PUBG is the only one with the issue. After loading the game approx. 45 seconds after the game has loaded the mic will continuously connect/disconnect the audio and everytime it comes back on the audio is grainy and unreadable. Like I said i tested on my library of 25+ steam games and EFT along with COD and no other game does this. Please let me know if there is anything i can do, i really love playing this game.

If you only have it sometimes, it cannot be the reason. Desync isn't some issue many times anyway because it's based on latency. So if your opponent has a high ping, desync is quiet normal.

I too have been having Sound/Mic issues and can't figure out what the problem is. I am using a Sound BlasterX G6 for sound, and a seperate mic connected directly to the PC. Audio will disconnect and reconnect off and on, mic wont work in game. and I will lose all sound when a pubg game is finished.

Here are some restrictions and other things to watch out for and make sure that you're doing correctly.
- Items can be thrown a maximum distance of 15m.
- Items can be thrown through glass windows.
- Beware of iron bars across windows. Items will not pass through them, and hit the wall instead.
- A teammate can request ammo, turn around and catch the ammo behind their back.
- Items thrown to you will appear straight in your inventory if you have space. If your inventory is full, the items will appear by your feet.

There is no action queuing in the game. Unfortunately this means that if you try to shoot or aim too early while performing certain actions like getting out of a vehicle or vaulting, the input is completely ignored until you release and start again.

Try some other games if they do a similar type of crash (shut down with no error but maybe not at launch) then your video card is dying. Generally crashing without error is your GPU or mobo.

This error message could pop up while playing PUBG if your PC is low on memory. In order to resolve it, you've to verify integrity of game files. I hope this works to troubleshoot your problem.
1- Reboot your PC and launch PUBG.
2-Turn off all other programs except PUBG to free up the memory.
3- Set Steam client to run as Administrator
4- Launch Steam > Library > select PUBG > Right click > Properties > select the Local files and click the Verify integrity of game files button.

Hi guys. is My ISP routes lots of the IP ranges for the EU servers over their own line to Europe from South Africa. Thus they aren't handing it off for AWS to handle in Cape Town. However lately some of the servers we play on has a 30 to 50 ms higher ping. I suspect it's because some new servers might have been spun up on different IP ranges.
So, my question is there an easy way to find out what the server IP ranges are for the EU region so that I can ask my ISP to make sure they have all of the IPs routes on lower latency route?

Need to query some Information: How PUBG take actions against some VIP cheat vendor servers on discord, recently a guy in the PUBG server lobby has shared some official links of vendor servers selling/promoting exploits/scripts and involved in exploiting the game, and I have recorded his dictation and searched for the links he shared, I found really what he promised and he was a cheater by himself but he claim that he is cheating because everyone is cheating and he is killed by cheaters in every match that's why he is using cheats.
One more query: How to report these links to discord administration to block them? I have reported through the support email and got response we have nothing to do with these communities and they are not violating our rules of conduct.

Why does the game only load to my second monitor, and when I try to switch it the game still is controlled from my second monitor?
don't have a VMware open, don't even have one installed other than Windows Sandbox, which comes with Windows Pro. I am running Windows Dev Build and I have Linux on my other drive. Months ago, the game refused to launch, then when I get it to launch it tells me I have VMware running

@viral monolith This error totally occurs on the detection of VMware that causes to make cheats on. You should double check if you've installed any malicious software or maybe that can be an alt of VMware. I'm sure it's a rare situation and happening due to detection of VMware in your system.

If your game is not starting or closes shortly after starting, this might be caused by your anti virus.
This can be solved by adding an exception in your anti virus for PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64\TslGame.exe
The PUBG Folder is located in your steam library.
Adding an exception for the folder does not solve the problem for some users.

This issue commonly occurs when the associated Game files are corrupted. Delete the battleye folder and then verify the game integrity. Follow the below steps to delete the battleye folder.
- Close the game all the way out
- Then, go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Win64\BattlEyeand delete the BattlEye folder. - Then, verify the integrity of the game cache through Steam.
- Go to steam
>right click PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. - Click the Local Files tab
>select Verify Integrity of Game Files.
For an additional solution, You can also attempt to clean re install the game which will remove all the game related residual files from the system. Here's how to do it :-

I want to query the information about the new type of cheating technique.
Today a cheater killed me and I spectate him, his screen was freezed and I was not able to record his video as video evidence. But I was only able to listen what was happening in the background for example I listened to the voice he shooting, driving the car and everything else. Only this screen was stopped with no character motion.

Bro I have a fucking 2080 ti top spec pc with with high speed internet. And I'm still getting rubber bands and stutters ALL THE TIME, it never stops. If I so much as flick shot I have to brace for lag. Its ridiculous. I have my pc built for fps games that are supposed to handle these games. The thing runs Apex and warzone and abunch of fast paced games but for some reason it cant run the game made in unreal engine. I've went as far as to reset all my settings and turn everything on very low and NOTHING works. I'm one more gun fight loss to lag away from uninstalling and not looking back. This has been an issue for years but all we see are new skins and more microtransactions.

Hi, I keep ketting the Memory Corruption message in the warmup part of the match after about 10 seconds which leads to exiting the match. I've tried deleting the Binaries/Win64/BattlEye folder and checking the integrity of the game files. I've also tried to uninstall and install the game again, and still it doesn't work.
This issue commonly occurs when the associated Game files are corrupted. Delete the battleye folder and then verify the game integrity. Follow the below steps to delete the battleye folder.
- Close the game all the way out
- Then, go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Win64\BattlEyeand delete the BattlEye folder. - Then, verify the integrity of the game cache through Steam.
- Go to steam
>right click PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. - Click the Local Files tab
>select Verify Integrity of Game Files.
For an additional solution, You can also attempt to clean re install the game which will remove all the game related residual files from the system. Here's how to do it :-
- Delete all the files of PUBG manually and, make sure to delete all the data saved in the following location on your PC
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\. - Replace
"username"with the PC name.
Here you will find"TslGame"directory, delete it. - If you have installed your OS on any other drive then make sure to change the drive name in the above file path.
- Then try reinstalling the game.

Hello, I have a huge problem with fps. During the game I play the game generally at good fps. But the problem is when I parachute to crowded places like bootcamp paradise castle pecado. I have also generally noticed when there are many players near me I have 15-20 fps drops from 70-80 can drop to 40-45. As you understand it is unlikely to play the game normally

Has anyone noticed a recent change in the smoothness of frame rates at 1440p resolution? My fps counter shows identical values now compared to pre-10.2, but my game is ridiculously choppy. I usually get 100-140 depending on the map/playercount. Despite this, it is almost like only half of the frames being counted are actually being displayed in-game. When I lower to 1080p, the framerate is roughly the same, but I no longer experience the choppiness. Hardware is not an issue, I have an i7-8700k, 16gb 3000mhz ram, and a 1080Ti. Any thoughts?
I've currenty deleted PUBG, Steam, all the folders that have BattlEye os Tslgame or Steam in any of the names, deleted all the registry items with the same names. Installing Steam and the game from scracth.

Discord is having issues in the detection of Game. Try reinstalling Discord and if you have not update it yet, do it.

If your game is not starting or closes shortly after starting, this might be caused by your anti virus.
This can be solved by adding an exception in your anti virus for PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64\TslGame.exe
The PUBG Folder is located in your steam library.
Adding an exception for the folder does not solve the problem for some users.

I'm trying to play the Pubg Experimental server, and every time i try to load up the game it says "Failed to install Battleye Service"
I've tried uninstalling Battleye, starting it from my "Services" section, updated my drivers, restarted my pc, Reinstalled the server itself, and also verified the game files several times.
