Game keeps crashing I need help. I have my afterburner on and cpu, gpu are around 60% during the game and ram is around 9000mb usage(I have 16 gb) when I crash. They happen when I exit to lobby, vault or loot far from anyone when there's no shots or nades exploding around.

@celest panther I did almost all of them except the 11-13 ones. The crashes are always the result of a random "freeze" for about a second and then being followed by a crash doing any of the following things: Open the map, use a booster(when I finish taking it), pick up stuff from the ground, vault, ledge grab, spectate my teammates, get into a vehicle or exit to lobby.

I tried playing again after experiencing a crash, I verified integrity of game files, but it didn't work. I got the same issue with a "freeze" or fps drop and after a few seconds around 10 I got a crash.

@stray coral Can you tell me what the issue is? If it's just about a differing ping between the two servers there isn't anything that can be changed to resolve this. Both are in Frankfurt (Fra), and the connection you have to those servers is based on the routing provided to you by your ISP.

Are these "freezes" considered to be a crash? If not, then this might be a different issue then. I might try to do full windows reinstall and if that doesn't work I don't know what other solution there is to this problem. They started to happen again, but there's no first "freeze" for almost a second, now it just "freezes" permanently.

I also searched that this might be a 100% cpu usage thing since I have i7-4790k, but while using the msi afterburner it doesn't go above 60%.

@celest panther If I'm playing pubg and the screen freezes permanently is that considered a crash or something else? Because when that happens pubg becomes "not responding" on the task manager and the only way to close it is through it or pc restart.

Probably because there isn't a large enough playerbase to have separate servers.
I can't speak for mobile because it's a different company but i would guess that the mobile playerbase is bigger than the PC one

Had my first chicken dinner of the day and I'd say it was quiet a good experience. Encountered mostly human players, so that's great!

I mostly play Solo FPP Sanhok on SEA servers and from the past few days I'm getting a lot of human players. Earlier (before the bots were added) I couldn't start a solo match without switching to EU server but now I'm able to get matches with majority of humans.

The other two games I played had 26 and 32 bots respectively, so yeah! the inclusion of bots has finally helped me getting matches on my favourite map! @quick chasm @celest panther @weary warren

@celest panther It seems quitting rtx voice have helped with the game crashing issue. Once crashed 5 times within an hour, but not after quitting rtx voice. I dont know on whos end this problem is on, but would much appreciate a notice in the patch notes when (i can expect a when?) this is resolved.

I would recommend raising it as a bug with them as well so they have visibility on the issue and can investigate further. We are doing the same at our end.

Sounds like a memory related crash. We are aware that players using the lower spec OG and S consoles are encountering this more than others and we continue to work on the problem.

Crash rates are down overall, but that doesn't mean crashes can't happen and that players aren't experiencing them still.

Working out the best settings for your system is a personal thing. There isn't a specific set of settings that provide "optimal" performance because all systems are different. Its up to you to find out which settings help balance the workload between your CPU and GPU

#

Lower settings shift the workload more to the CPU than the GPU, so setting everything to the lowest possible may not provide the highest performance - especially if you have a weaker CPU

I'm always playing with random guys with low MMR stats, which means that makes the gameplay very bad at all.

Why is that PUBG breaks down after windows update? Originally I was running Win 10 1909, somehow even after closing all the updates, it started installing 2004 updates. I was having some serious stability issues after a few 2004 updates were installed. Somehow it's just a case with PUBG only, other games run just fine with literally any version of windows. Had to roll back to 1909 just to play this very game

I'm having issues where my game is freezing up or lagging really bad. It seems to be something new since the update. My buddy pulled the pin on a grenade and froze and then blew himself up. I was just about to peek a corner down sights and froze midway through looking down sights. Game just seems really jump/laggy since the update.

For months i have 60-70ms ping to EU PUBG servers from the Netherlands. My ISP decided that routing traffic from Amsterdam to Frankfurt works best when you put Paris and Lisbon between them. My ISP is not changing the routing, i can't contact Softlayer / IBM cloud where the PUBG servers are running. What's next? I expect that a lot of people from the Netherlands have this problem because this is 1 of the 2 biggest ISP's here (Ziggo / Liberty Global). When i use a VPN to Amsterdam i have 20ms ping.

Unfortunately this appears to be an ISP level routing issue and is something the ISP needs to look into. We are looking into it from our end as well but the best thing to do right now is continue speaking to your ISP

@celest panther I tried to contact them on multiple occasions but they hide behind Liberty Global's network (Parent company). And you can't contact them directly.
It's all about the money these days. The biggest ISP's here: Liberty Global (AS6830) DTAG (AS3320) KPN (AS286) want to earn money from customers and also content providers (Double Dipping). Big ISP's in NA already did this a couple years ago: https://www.theverge.com/2014/4/24/5650406/netflix-accuses-comcast-of-double-dipping-with-isp-toll

Programs that alter the game in any way (even if it is not for cheating)

@gentle sleet That will be due to the location of the server. While your personal ping may be lower, other players from the west coast will have substantially higher pings which results in a degraded experience for everyone. The primary purpose for using our central location is to reduce the impact latency has on gameplay due to ping variance between players.

@celest panther I think that a lot of players would disagree, I know it would not be majority of people playing from the US, but for the type of connection from 3rd world countries have we get better ping on W-A-Vir almost always. I know It is obviously less favorable of a choice to benefit the lesser party, but is it really that big of a problem to just add a few more W-A-Vir servers, just to keep majority of neighboring countries happy? I mean most people in US always get good ping when comparing it to us. People who don't live near W-A-Vir but still live in the US probably still get the same ping as me due to better services for internet.

It isn't a change we are looking to make. The central location was chosen to provide a better average ping to all players, not just a smaller subset.

this server location thing just does not seem logical... if you have a map, and you have a line of light in the middle of the map, the wider the map gets the less range the light covers. If you instead have two lines on the map, one close to each edge, A LOT more of the map would be lit

I completely understand, that one voice is subbed the in the sea of feedback, but all I ask is that PUBG at least hears our concern and out problem. Just to hear people in neighboring countries for once. As long as I know that some PUBG in the line of pubg knows about our problem. Then I am very pleased. Hi all! Why am I getting "unknown#(xxx)" (xxx= a player number) in the kill feed during all types of games after building a new gaming rig? The only exception is team mates show up correctly both in the team list (bottom left), and in the kill feed. Their kills and my own kills do show a PlayerID mine and the deceased, but anyone else looks like "unknown#034 killed unknown#223 with [gun]".
Before I tried reinstalling the game, I had Steam verify files. But that didn't work either. So I just reinstalled on Steam as well. What am I missing? It's been a week now and I can't seem to figure it out.

@weary warren have you guys gotten reports about the “friends” tab causing massive “choke” on Xbox? Every time I open it (my list is typically 10 online 150 offline), my whole Xbox one x with ssd and hardwired, gets stuck for about 10 secs. My buttons don’t respond, party chat gets choppy and I don’t hear nor can I say anything, all Xbox menu’s gets clogged while the list loads in the game. About 10 seconds later everything is back to normal and I can navigate the list. It’s an annoyance, but it wasn’t affecting the entire Xbox before 7.3 (it was slow loading in game only)

In a Ranked match Phase 4 Circle I have 30% GPU usage on 1660Super R5 3600 16GB Ram and I have around 60Fps on average. Before the circle pops up I had around 120fps and 70-80% GPU usage but suddenly it dropped down. I tried restarting my game but nothing changed

My game is freezing multiple times every match. Sometimes the freezes are longer than 10 seconds. I have top of the line hardware and a stable 500MBit/s internet connection.

i have sent 3 tickets in pubg support..and some of the guys answered me with a bot only in the first ticket..i sent 3 emails in pubg support and no1 answered..i have 3150 hours in the game and i have spent more than 100 euros..and i got perma banned for using a program that bypassing the terms or something..the funny part is that i dont use anything..just the msi afterburner for having 10 fps more..half the community uses this program..i am really sad...i dont know what to do..can you send this to someone in pubg support..or can you help me getting my acc ban..i told the guys in the ticket and at the e-mail to check again my acc..and see that i dont use anything..i think no1 cares for me :/ the problem isn't the 30 euro that i have to give again..is that they did not respect me..cause i am a customer..i paid so much money in the game and i dont use anything to cheat or something like that..my name in the game is "MankisNtiLoufis" and my steam ip is 107307515....its really unfair what happening to me and no1 cares :/

Once again, PUBG just decided not to launch, even with not a SINGLE program open, I read something online to delete anything in a folder that doesn't start with "pakchunk" I did find one, but should I delete it? NOTE: it is at the very bottom

nearly every game with a proper ranked mode has some kind of punishment if you leave a ranked match early.
Like CSGO, DOTA 2 etc

It's there to prevent players bailing out if they don'T like the map/teammates whatever and causing a bad game for the other players left

@ocean shard when is the voice chat bug going to be fixed on pc? It just randomly goes out. I have verified files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, uninstalled and reinstalled steam, deleted folders, cleared cache, made sure all drivers are up to date.......I don't know what more I can do.

Just downloaded the PUBG_Test_Server (not the Experimental one)
But I just can´t launch it?
It says playing in Steam and then it suddenly disappears?
There is no Task in the Taskmanager.
Tried compatability mode and a fresh install (once on a HDD second time on SSD)

Just saying...
Maybe 20-30% of the times we play ranked, someone gets disconnected mid-game and loses their points.
So I've had a hard time getting people to play ranked because they are pissed off.
You can never re-join a ranked match either it seems.
