Problem, I have a lot of fps drop, it goes from 90 to 20, and when that happens i cant control my character. I have the same issue with csgo but its not as bad. In pubg, when I move my mouse left, and stop, my fps drops and my character keeps going to the left or it does circle. plz help, i just got the game and i kinda wanna play more but this is very annoying.

Hey everyone. I got a streaming questions. The last couple times I have tried to stream PUBG, it has been very choopy and almost unwatchable. It has been laggy as well when playing. I have successfully streamed it numerous times in the past with no issues. Anyone have an idea of what I can do to remedy this? I dropped the graphics down and it still did it. I have everything set to medium as well just to make sure it runs smoothly. Also, I use streamlabs obs

i didn't say he can't share the video here, in fact we like players sharing the content they created.
But in order to prevent total chaos by everyone posting in random channels, we have different channels for different things. (This is why there is a #247459649798930453 for videos you made).

@agile pagoda Are you launching through Steam? That darkened screen appears when you launch the .exe file, or an incompatible shortcut, instead of through Steam.

I'm facing a issue with ping. I play Pubg with tethering connection or mobile data. I got 250ms-300ms ping and 10-12% packet loss. But when I connect Exitlag the ping goes to 130ms-150ms and packet loss is 0-1%. And the problem is Exitlag got just 3 days trail. After it is paid. Any help ?

@upper bison It sounds like a routing related issue given that exitlag seems to resolve the problem. Its not something we can do anything about as it would be your ISP (or in this case your cellular network operator) that chooses network paths.

After the 5.3 update i experienced some issues. First The game appeared to froze sometimes but it will come back eventually but sometimes the game just instantly crash without any warnings. Second there is a problem with the sound. When i jumped out of the glass window, the sound just suddenly stopped playing/dissapear when i look forward. But when i look backward the sound is still the same and not stopped playing

I got this game about a year ago and just downloaded it on my new computer a week ago. But I’ve been trying to play with my friends after taking a break from Rust but every time I load into a game the game starts lagging and discord audio cuts out. It pops an image on the screen saying network connection lost or something like that and then the game plays fine for 30 seconds and does that again. Also the game randomly just starts playing itself after lagging and I can’t do anything about it. My gun just aims to the the ground or the sky and my character runs in a straight line for like 15 seconds. Please help it’s bad and makes the game unplayable and infuriating.

@celest panther - i also noticed that same bug that @undone kernel was noticing. It's on Test Server. Was patched awhile back for live, but seems to have resurfaced with Season 6.

Are you working on a fix with the bugs where one of the teamates name doesnt appear in the squad so you cant see if he is a teammember or enemy, and another bug when the Circle when you use heals that shows how many seconds it takes to use it gets stuck at "0.0" then you have that circle in your crosshair

Try going into your Nvidia Control Panel, under 'Manage 3D Settings" find "Low Latency Mode" and putting it to "Off"

i've gpu 1060 3gb and i7 8700k cpu, i've always played almost lowest settings except antialiasing med and textures med or very low and got aprx 100-140fps but couple days ago i tested if my setup could handle textures ultra and antialiasing ultra i noticed that i got slightly better fps but when i opened map or inventory i got insane lagspikes(saw ping go up to 200ms) and or frame drops all the time when doing so.

Hi @celest panther Myself and many others have not been able to match to EU for two days now. Has this got to do with discussions of a ping lock? Please escalate this issue to the devs if possible as a ping lock in this capacity would mean that eveyone From South Africa, India, etc that can onlu match to EU will be unable to play what so ever.

I have tested my connection using a few other games that have server select such as Scum, Ark, BFV and the pins are slightly higher than usual (+20ms or so) but that seems to be the only issue. That is why I considered the matching issue to be ping based. I shall check back in after matainance to see if there is still an issue as well as check with my ISP to see if the know of anything @celest panther

Hey @vocal barn , to make sure your game is uninstalled completely and your steam download cache cleared properly it is important to do all the steps one by one. If the issue persists, also try changing the steam download region after clearing the cache in the step 4.
1)Uninstall PUBG
Go to your Steam library
Right Click on PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS and select Uninstall
A windows will pop up asking for confirmation, click on Delete
2)Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete the file BEService_pubg.exe
3)Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and delete the folder PUBG
4)In Steam go to Settings>Downloads and click on CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE
5)Restart PC
6)Reinstall the game

I would recommend continuing to wait until the repairs are complete before revisiting this problem. something is definitely off with queues unless everyone is only playing new map, EU other maps in duos are dead. A few patches ago I had cross region queue issues that RoboDanjal was very helpful with. Unsure if the matchmaking algorithm got tweaked again

when my partner queues for duo by himself the queue times are listed as within a few seconds

I am NA from an Atlantic coastal state he is Belgium. We normally queue EU and get matches in seconds all day from 9am-3PM EST. Today We cant get any games except new map

I bought Survivor Pass: Shakedown in the pubg steam game and this message popped up for me and found that I could not play the game and even that it was removed from my game console .. I don’t know what this error was. I was very happy with my purchase of this season and found that all that I paid was lost on me Please solve this problem as soon as possible and return the game and the season I bought to my library

EU, my server just had extreme lag for both of me and my friend

Editing any of the game files is against the TOS. But if you want, you can turn down foliage to Very Low.

@static pasture You are not allowed to modify any game files as klöv3r said. You are bound to what you can change with the games in-game settings.
