Pretty much. Alot of player models in the same area, absolutely tanks frames on any game. Battlefield suffers from the same thing, so does COD, so it isn't just a PUBG issue kiddy.

If steam downloads, there's a setting in steam settings (click Steam in the top left corner -> Settings -> Downloads tab) to change your download rate while ingame. Probably limited

as soon as I open any steam game, sit in the lobby, all other connections like opening browser and doing speedtest or try to stream via OBS is absolutely slow (upload is around 0.25 Mbits and download around 10 Mbits)

If you do decide to kill your own team, then it's likely you will get hit with a ban. So while I can't stop you doing it, I advise you not to, as you will get banned for it.

Yes i did. But when i tried to run that test a while ago it didnt do anything. But i wanted to say, the past week, all my problems magically went away, 0% packet loss(download) the whole week, but today in 2 games, i had a few little 1 or 2% pkt loss spikes again. Just kinda wanted to share

1-2% packet loss can occur for many reasons.

If you couldn't run the test (as in no results showed) either something in your router is blocking access, or you have a space after the IP.

Okay, well this cannot effect the game audio for PUBG. Please make sure you didn't accidentally turn down PUBG in the Windows Volume Mixer.

I was excited to see if steelseries stuff is actually better quality than razer... becauase i have had all my peripherals up to this point (except mic) by razer and all but my keyboard broke under a month but they wouldn't let me return the 400$ headset under its 2 year warrantee which seriously pissed me off..............

@stiff silo glad it works correctly for you now. If you do not have the ability to switch to the better ISP, make sure to report the issue to your current ISP. It may have some routing issues which would cause you to have high ping and they may look into it and resolve it on their end

Also always make sure to use ethernet connection over a wireless one due to connection stability as Dan mentioned earlier. It is far easier to receive issues like packet loss which can impact your gameplay

Oh mate, that may seem like a lot but it really isn't :D, I used to use 15-20m cables quite often. If you can run the cable alongside the walls etc so it's not too exposed and makes the place look bad then definitely try going for it! Stable internet is the best internet!

If you are getting that particular error, it sounds like an issue with the connection to the server in some way. I would recommend having a chat with your ISP to see if there are any know issues within their network

I've reported a blatant cheater 3-4x (accidentally shooting people through rocks from 200m+ without knowing they are there) yet he's still not banned. I actively avoid games I see him in the kill feed. Is there a way to report him directly so he gets banned? I can even supply blatant video of him aiming at multiple people through cover.

And yes, I know about submitting clips via support on the website but that that has never resulted in anything for me.

Why does my game close itself randomly when I’m playing? Not a crash report, nothing to do with memory etc. Why does pubg commit suicide and then take ages to reboot up? Happens way too often and it’s an issue which has been around for years.

I’ll do this when I’m home but the issue has been reported via support etc before. It’s been a reoccurring issue. Which a lot of people I know have had, we have various different pc specs so I don’t think it’s relevant but like I said when I’m home you’ll get all the information you requested.

So I've been noticing this since the latest windows update, though it could also be since latest pubg update or latest nvidia driver-who knows; As soon as I load pubg, programs on windows close including EVGA Precison X1, Nvidia Control Panel, Gforce Experience, and iCue (and probably others that I'm not aware of). Anyone have a solution to this issue. In short, I open PUBG and a bunch of other programs crash/close.

@whole niche This appears to be related to the Low Latency feature in recent Nvidia driver releases. Change the setting from ultra to on or off, restart your system, then launch the game again. You should find hte issue is resolved.

Most likely, it's your PC telling you you have psu issues. Voltages may still be present, but are fluctuating. There are more reasons, but that is what it has usually meant for me.

Adding too many voltage using periphs and hardware on a small or weak psu will cause an orange flashing light

Some motherboards have orange flashies just to look pretty I guess tho. Those can be disabled in bios

Ram might help max fps if only a little. What it will do is remove the stutters and make the Fps you have much more stable.

Also. Low settings aren't always best for fps. Some settings move the load to the cpu or the gpu depending on the value. Best idea is to go training mode and mess with your settings until you get it where you want.

It varies from system to system. My settings wont work for you because I have a 1080ti , 32gb of ram and a 7700k. The loading in slow is normally because the person is using an hdd. im assuming this is also your case?

That's due to slow map loading times. That can only be solved by purchasing an ssd.

The main setting I noticed the biggest improvement on was shadows. On my system, I got better fps with them on high than on low.
