@tender oar When your game is located on your SSD. Try right-clicking TslGame.exe (steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64) and select Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings and disable everything in there.

@celest panther Sorry if Im disturbing - But could you bring it forth to the devs that they have to fix the parachutes in WAR-mode. They drop at regular-mode hights and got the same speed. So 20 sec spawn is more like 40+ sec spawn.
My idea for a fix:

10 sec drop in total, with half the "open parachute" height resulting in far lower "diving time", this compined with the removal of  the "drop n roll" (This is glitchy in normal mode, even worse in WAR) drop, replacing it with the way you drop jumping of high places in the "Pre-Game lobby" Falling straight down from the "cut off"-moment, being able to run directly, not "losing" aim on impact or the need of any recovery. ```

@coarse quartz i've also had audio problems but only after windows update. After a windows update, there is a complete overhaul of my audio. Twice, i had to revert to a former version of windows in order to get my audio working correctly again. Just some experience from my end.

I would say 8 gigs of ram and no SSD is definitely not enough to have your textures load in in time. I had to upgrade to 16 gigs to get my textures to load in in time., even with settings turned way down, I had issues with loading textures.

Just giving my personal experience with the issues. As soon as I upgraded my ram to 16gb I never had any issues again with my textures failing to load., Because I also tried lots of changes in scaling and fov and never found a solid fix for it

Hey I'm running Pubg at 90fps currently with but the problem is that I have some fps spikes dropping down to 60fps and then back to 90. I have no clue why this is happening and it's a bit annoying.
I have full screen optimizations off and I dont have any launch options for Pubg

@viral monolith hey, that may be related fo a bug where the game, even though it's set to fullscreen, would start in fullscreen(windowed). You can press Left Alt + Enter two times when you are in the game lobby, waiting to board the plane

Currently I can get in game and into the lobby but the lobby is covered by the screen saying playerunknowns battlegrounds and restarting the lobby from the options menu just flashes the lobby for 1 frame before returning to just that screen

the thing is me along with many other people i know haven't been getting this NEARLY as bad as you, so you are either wildly over exaggerating or it's on you.
i myself barely notice desync anymore. it's pretty rare for me and its impossible to get rid of it completely in any game.
if you want to complain about how your game runs without trying to resolve it i recommend you do that someone else instead of wasting your and other's time

My PC rig is quite good and can run a lot of OPTIMISED games on it... The problem with PUBG is that it's porly optimised and gives me a lot of lag. I can give the devs props that they downed down the desync and lag from april till now, but i was expecting them to at least try and resolve other isues

If you're having issues with voice chat not working, try this:

2. Hit WIN+i > Privacy & Make sure "Allow apps to access your microphone" is turned on.
3. Go into Steam settings > Voice and make sure everything is setup correct there (Not sure if it matters)
4. Go to "steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\ThirdParty\Vivox\Win64" and delete all files in there. You MUST verify your game files after this to redownload them.```

The NVIDIA NVS 3100M is a very old, slow card. I doubt it’d even be able to run the game, let alone at a playable level. It’s a card below minimum spec, and quite frankly the card that is at minimum spec would stomp the NVS 3100m

Yeah. You’re either lying about the specs you have, or something else. The NVS 3100m is a frankly ancient mobile card from 2010 which gets stomped by the Intel HD 4000.

Hey guys, i have an issue with the game. As soon as i close my inventory, or open/close the map, my game freezes for 0,5 to 1 second. Temporarely fix is to unplug all my monitors. The less monitors i use, the less it freezes. I know a few people with this issue and we all have different hardware. I tried many things including a fresh win10 installation. So i guess its game related. Any known fixes? I need all my monitors...

My brother used to have a similar issue with his regular HDD, first game either crashed or loaded very slow. Every game after that loaded fast. (This was a long time ago, before many optimisation patches)
I'm going to guess you're on a regular HDD and not SSD? If so, try doing a defrag of that drive.

And if it's a regular HDD, make sure it isn't under any unnecessary load from other programs.

'msvcp140.dll' errors are usually related to Visual C++ issues.

I'm having an issue with the in games sounds, mousing over my inventory makes a crackling sound and also quite often when im moving around etc. For a bit there i wasnt able to hear the glass smashing when jumping through windows myself but could hear other people smashing windows nps but after increasing the bit rate and quality through windows settings i can hear my own glass smashing now but the crackle is still there. It is definitely not the headset as theres no other situation where this is happening across about 5 other games i play often and any other windows task like netflix, you tube etc no crackling.

Hello. I tried to contact PUBG support to find out why my account got banned. Ive only gotten back automated messages which show no sign of them taking the time to review what ive written. I can tell ive got automated messages back, since i tried googling the response and saw serval other people got the same templated response back. @forest burrow They cannot disclose that information. If you get banned, you get banned. You submit a support ticket and someone will look into your case, depending on what they find either the ban is lifted or it isn’t. That’s how it works for pretty much all games, PUBG isn’t an exception.

As Robo said, the responses are standardised. I believe the initial support email/message is automatic to signify they’ve recieved your request, but after that someone does look into it.

Much like Xbox Live, Playstation Network also requires an active subscription to play games online versus other people. Without that monthly/yearly subscription, you won’t be able to play PUBG on the respective platform @muted stone

Yeah im thinking the same at this stage, plugged my corsair void pro's in which use usb only and not the jacks and the same noise is still there confirming its not the headsets or the motherboard ports that are the issue, must just be the game sounds. Its a pretty dirty sound so i hope they change that

What CPU and GPU do you have @cold marten ?

Also, dont use Nvidia recommended, thats never gonna give you the best settings for any game. If you are on a laptop one thing to definitely do is make sure its set on Maximum Performance power plan. There's also a power management setting in the Nvidia control panel to apply the same kind of setting to your GPU

Everytime I set my res to 1920x1440 it runs fine, until I press CTRL M to mute and it reverts my res to 2k. Any idea what would cause this, or a reason 1920X1440 is not in my listed resolutions even though it is set in Nvidia control panel as a res?

Id think the 3GB 1060 will be bottlenecking your CPU in that set up. Whats the resolution and refresh rates you are running at? When setting graphics some settings will really hold back a graphics card more than others.

Try setting it normal 1920x1080 and render scale to 120% + sharpen

Possibly a keybind for hot switching resolutions in Nvidia custom resolutions or something?

View distance may also impede your FPS quite hard when you are out and about

that's my normal settings playing on a GTX 1080 but you can see the difference in FPS already increasing those turned down in the prior link. Shadows and Foliage is off just to help me spot a mofo easier

Just actually realised full screen windowed increases my FPS by about 30, but it doesnt let me bring any other program or even the desktop back to the front lol

hello, is there a room dedicated to OCE servers being down here? Me and all my friends have been trying to play the game in the last few weeks and we get redirected to SEA servers with 250+ uplayable ping. I would love a response as I cant find anything on twitter or reddit about a fix. This game in the last few months has been unplayable for us, Id rather you revert back to January 2018 patch so we can play with 30-50 ping again. Thanks for listening

We do play, we all get shipped off to other regions though because its forced on us. NA servers at least had 150 ping but we cant choose that anymore. H1Z1 at least lets you join a server and wait for people to join

I understand your frustration, but we have addressed this multiple times.

#

We monitor player levels in each region, if the region doesn't have a high enough CCU for their local servers they will be allocated to the next nearest (and populated) server region.

#

Unfortunately the CCU for OCE is often not high enough to reliably fill those servers.
