Either this is due an issue with your PS4, or you need to check that your connection is allowing PUBG through.

In cases where this happens it's generally due to an ISP issue, port forwarding, or a poor quality connection.

So there are specific items that you purchase with g-coin which is the premium currency that you buy with real money. BP is earnt after each game based on kills and placement. The BP can be spent on a few specific items or one of 5 crates that reward a random item from its respective set. You can preview the items in the crates by visiting the store. @brisk slate

Yeah Vikendi runs like 20fps worse than the other maps for me. I’m guessing that’s just the nature of it being in test though

I remember Sanhok ran signifiantly worse when it was on test, so i’m faithful BH still have some optimisation to do in terms of optimising render distances, textures and assets etc.

you can only choose VIKENDI on the test server for testing. other maps are not included. if you want to play erangel, miramar, sanhok, you can do so in live server. PUBG: Test Server only for Snow Map (Vikendi) testing for now

In general the map is good , loot is very good , parachute is amazing but please you need to work on the mist or fog rendering , its very hard to see around and look for enemies its like 10x harder than Erangel for spotting enemies , i mean dont get me wrong the graphic is amazing but what is the use of good graphics it its 2 much intense and block your vision from seeing enemies , for example minimar you can see all the enemies ( sound of bullets and whoever shoots you ) easily and eye relaxing , but in the map my eyes is killing me while am searching through the god graphics you guys put , its just 2 much brightness and textures.

Ctrl+M = Ingame mute.

For some reason, the main screen or main menu takes so much time to load every element for me. I'm using a 25Mbps wired connection.

Anyone help? I reinstalled the game and it will not load at all. The home screen loads just fine, except when I go in to a game it's stuck on the loading screen with the facts until I hear someone kill me. Then I see the death screen with "Better luck next time on it", if I leave I go back to the loading screen, if I spectate I watch 1 frame per min no rendering. Help please?

This is usually kept to a need to know basis - so it’s harder to access then say the client side scaffolding

Also with some methods it’s possible to alter the key itself - but it will fail the serverside check if you alter it in any way

The official pubg discord wont let me connect to any of its voice channels. All the other servers im on let me connect and speak fine, it is just the offical pubg one that never lets me connect.

does anyone have any experience with a (maybe?) bug where the in-game audio has been drastically reduced? Where I previously would play with PUBG Master of 30% and a Windows volume of 46%, I now need to increase my Windows Volume to 92% in order to hear the same details and at the sane magnitude as before. My in-game master volume and the windows sound mixer have not been altered.

its not uncommon for steam to download extra files if there was some error during the update process.

you should be fine once this next piece downloads, but if it seems to be in some sort of loop then I would recommend making sure all the PUBG files are removed from your steam directory, clear your download cache in steam settings and then download it all fresh

There could be several reasons why steam is downloading extra, almost all of it is connected to failed checksums so it has to redownload the package.

Think of it like a puzzle. If you are missing a couple of pieces then you cannot complete the puzzle, but you can't just buy a single piece from the store - you have to buy the entire puzzle again

Someone mentioned that in their case it was related to the nvidia HD audio driver and when they removed it the stutters/freezes stopped

Power cycle your network hardware (router, modem etc) and see if that solves it. If not, are you able to use a mobile hotspot of some sort to see if it allows you to play?
