@pine glacier alot of games have fixed desync overwatch, battlefields is alot better (they have as many people in a match) and many other shooters because responsive gunplay, well rendered hitboxes and little delay is what makes a good shooter and as of the moment i am not enjoying pubg as much, roe and blackout are examples of much better netcode

@warm star I think you get stuck on that screen when your connection doesn't reach the server. Which could mean that somewhere on the way to the server, the connection gets interupted. I don't know the IP for the lobby servers, but you could do a tracert if you find out. To see if that is what's happening.

I have a hypothesis in regards to the ping based match making system and why it's not putting players into the correct region. I think it may be partly caused by a spike in latency which could be caused by any number of reasons wifi probably being one of the main culprits. I was then thinking that maybe the client is looking at current ping in present time, but what if the client made a trend of the ping for an X amount of time prior to sending that variable to whatever function decides what X server is best for X client.

Do people not bother reporting cheaters? I was in a match where these two guys are obviously teaming, and their pubg.op.gg data shows they've been doing this for weeks. They play duo together, and then in solo they finish 1st/2nd or 2nd/3rd.
It's also nuts that someone can have played over 150 games just this season, winning 10% of the time, but no one's bothered to report them. I'm watching the replay and the guy is zooming in and tracking people behind hills, rocks, and foliage.
