@weary warren I've updated to Fall Creators Update and can't use Windowed (Fullscreed) mode. After I switch to another windows and go back to game - it locks to 30fps regardless of Game Mode settings.
Works fine in other modes Windowed of Eclusive Fullscreen

@edgy root depending on your monitor, 60fps are more than enough. if you are fps crazy, play with lowest details except for range. add another 8gb to your pc and leave screen scale on 100. disable dvr if you are on windows 10 as well for any overlay software like geforce experience or steam.

What a joke, he's making a valid statement about the large scale hacking problem at the moment and you're best response is the classic "unninstall". I can guarantee you the amount of hackers at this point is nearing 1% of the playerbase, possibly (but hopefully not) more. Theres no point manually reporting these scum out of the game anymore because of the sheer volume. Bluehole, admit it your anticheat does literally nothing. If you were truly listening to the community you'de know the real problem right now is hacking/scripting/esps. Love the game more than any other, but its beyond ridiculous at this point.

@gaunt lagoon The PubG team is actually doing a lot against the hackers... I am a top 10 NA player and I have seen a lot of the hackers on the boards get stats/accounts deleted

@gusty plover yes and no. just banning accoutns doesnt really do much at all considering people in china can just refund there money from buying the game and rebuy it.
its actually almost insulting to pubg when people that have the user name "in chinese " (Hacks+there phone number to which you can buy the hacks) i think thats pretty straight forward that they just dont care and will keep doing it unless there is something like mac ID banning involved

no, that is not true at all.
If you are just playing the game you won't get banned, what gets you banned is streamsniping (watching the stream, search the streamer ingame and kill him)

I still haven't found a way to solve PUBG crashing my computer. After the Windows Creators- and AMD Driver update tabbing into borderless fullscreen pubg can cause my entire system to freeze with the exception of ingame sound and the only way to solve it is to shut it all down. My specs are Ryzen 5 1600, RX 580 and 16 GB of RAM.
It seems as though there is nobody else who currently has this issue.

Try the game cache, if that doesn’t work follow these steps in order:
1.Uninstlal PUBG
2. Navigate to your stream folder and go to Steam/steamapps/common/PUBG
3. Delete the entire folder of PUBG
(Yes including from your ”recycle bin”)
4.reinstall PUBG

Currently windowed mode is working fine. I wonder if it has anything to do with Vibrance GUI? I can't play windowed though because it's just too distracting. I'll try reinstalling tonight I guess

The reason that you’ll most likely have to “fully” reinstall PUBG is because what I’m thinking is the .ini file that contains settings for PUBG is corrupt, and buggs out when you tab out of the PUBG window... fully reinstalling it will rule out this possibility. If you still encounter the problem after you re install it the only other conclusion I can come to Is a error between your PUBG and batteye, I would contact their support if you still get the issue.

@tribal blade Razer Cortex's Gamecaster overlay seems to have issues with PUBG. Disabling that should (hopefully) be all that you need to do, and then you can keep using Cortex
