I parachute down into the world and for a good 4 minutes its about 20 seconds per frame. The game isnt loaded in, and i cannot loot/take a gun fight. After the initial 4 minutes there is a 50% chance of a complete crash of the game, and when i do not crash lag is horrible for another 5 minutes.

@halcyon epoch the only thing we have the same here is the 8gb ram, so that might be the biggest contributor to our problem, maybe the 3gb of VRAM but i wouldnt see that being a problem as my friend has one and doesnt get the problem.

I have a question regarding PUBG sound management. Whenever I tab into PUBG, my Chromium is set to 10% volume in the windows sound mixer. Any way to prevent this? I like to listen to music while playing!

yo can i have some help, i asked about it earlier but it didnt really get an answer. Whenever i zoom out of 4x or 8x scopes i always get fps drops. It drops to around 30 which makes my screen stuttery and means i can aim properly. It considerably worse on the 8x scope then it is on the 4x

ive been having the texure glitch and i think i found the solution. ive played 6 games sinve ive done this and i havent had a loading issue since, and i dropped into school,georgepol,zarki, stalber, apps and 1 random place
i added these commands to my launch options (for people with 8gb ram)

and then i turned my view distance to ultra
havent had a loading issue
from what i can tell is that -sm4 makes grass and other things from far away 2d until you get close to it

Is there a way for me to get better at noticing players at range? I find myself consistently missing players that should have crossed my field of view, or being unable to tell where a player is off in the distance. I see streamers all seem to just immediately acquire a target at the slighest hint of movement and I feel copmletely clueless.

@bright hawk You could potentially change your view distance to very low, if it isn't already. It doesn't change the view distance of players and can make it easier to spot players in the distance

some help pls re: mouse settings... most competitive FPS vets use 400DPI for their mouse sensitivity. Do they set that to 400 specifically for the game only? Because when I exit the game and start using Windows again, my mouse won't even move half my screen even with a full swing of my wrist if it's at 400DPI. Or do I also have to tweak the mouse sensitivity of Windows?

there is 2 main ways to use mouse. with your wrist.(high sens)

with whole arm(low sens)
in CS low sensitivity is prefered cuz you usually know direction where enemy is coming and its all about peeking corner.
also most gaming mouses you can change sensitivy on fly so switching sensitivity betwen desktop and game is easy

I've had this bug a couple of times now: game crashes while squad in lobby, restart game and reconnect to session while squad in the plane, I show on the map as being on the starting island but am in the plane. I can jump, land and play as normal but I don't have the team marker above my head (serious danger of team kill BTW), in this round we won eventually - the attached shows me plus my squad in-game, there's one enemy remaining, players remaining counter = 4 = I'm not being counted!
