I’ve been having this for a while. At first, I just deleted the data in the app. It worked for a while.
Then I got it again, so I did the same thing. At this point I reinstalled the WAD via YAWM (and the WAD on my SD)
Now I have it again after using a fresh WAD from the exe you run on laptop, and last night I got the 231000 error. So I restarted and I have this now. I don’t know if Im being stupid or something.

Here's information about your error:

Class for error 23xxxx: Everybody Votes Channel error codes.
Error for error 239001: Everyone Votes Channel data invalid.
Solution for error 239001: If using RC24, check IOS31 is patched (Does News/Forecast work?)

Really random but would someone elses IOS31 wad work on mine? Or any way to get the patcher working? I wouldnt do the first but i am genuinely curious from a view where its cool to learn abt this stuff wq

I’m having the same issues as Lara, just found this thread (btw my region is USA and not PAL, I’m also using a physical Wii).

My whole deal is that I first installed Riiconnect24 back in 2017 along with all the channels (including EVC) and I updated everything with the new WiiLink patcher stuff a few months ago and I’ve been using the new DNS too. About an hour ago, I just deleted my wifi settings that I used for WiiLink and then reconnected to it with the correct new DNS settings and everything. Since then (or maybe this could’ve been happening for the last few days and I’ve only noticed now? I honestly can’t remember whether I last checked EVC either a few days ago or in May) I’ve had the same issue as Lara where I’m getting Error 239001 whenever EVC tries to receive data and eventually I also get error 231000. My Weather, News, CMO, and Nintendo Channels all still work fine.

Like Lara did, I just deleted EVC, reinstalled it with the WiiLink Patcher, and I’m still having the same issues. Restarting my Wii doesn’t solve things either. Also, since it was brought up in this thread before, I still have my original IOS31 wad on my SD card. Don’t know if that can help me or not.

I guess if I’m understanding this thread correctly, I just have to wait for the devs to fix this issue?
