#Priiloader acting odd after IOS updates

So yesterday I used ModMii to ensure all iOSes were up to date and USB Loader GX worked without hiccups.

While everything seemed to work flawlessly (USB Loader GX loaded games pretty quickly over SD!), today I woke up to my Priiloader acting weird. That is, from its menu, it cannot seem to run the Homebrew Channel (complaining about title not installed) or the System Menu (got scared bc it showed a glitched system files corrupted screen; tried again and it booted to a black screen). Fortunately, the Wii can turn on to the System Menu and can open the Homebrew Channel with no apparent sign of malfunctioning.

Unfortunately, I do not have the pictures of the System Menu “brick” screens, but I can provide the SysChecks of my Wii Pre and Post updating the IOSes.

Am using System Menu IOS for Priiloader, but I have the latest d2x cIOSes. I used to have some obsolete cIOSes, but I deleted them using Wii Mod Lite.

You may check the SysChecks to observe which IOSes changed or were removed.

Ok, so I’ve just noticed that Priiloader can actually run the System Menu if I haven’t attempted to run HBC first

#

Btw, I must mention that, while updating the IOSes, I also had installed what seems to be an Open Source Edition of HBC (v1.1.5). I ran the local HackMii installer to get v1.1.2 back, but still, Priiloader couldn’t run it from its menu

I must also add that BootMii IOS (my Wii is Family Edition) works fine and can open HBC from there

#

So it all boils down to Priiloader being icky to open HBC to the point of consequentially causing “pseudo-brick” screens

#

I just attempted to open HBC from Priiloader and then open the System Menu from there. Was greeted with this:

#

Confirming System Menu actually works in spite of previous picture:

not really, this usually only happens when you're running under a system menu IOS without identify patches (?
Try set the system menu IOS to 70

Mkay, I’ll check that out

Judging by my SysCheck, I can’t expect it to work since IOS 70, like IOS 80, doesn’t have the ES Identify patch, though cIOS 248 does (and it’s currently the only one with such patch)

Set it back and it threw another error. Hard cycled the Wii and it got back to normalcy.

I actually noticed some other weird stuff like TMD errors and even BootMii IOS not being found
