I get why you wouldn't want a bot deleting files, but it seems like it's doing the same thing each time. Is there a variable I might not be aware of?

The reason we got rid of the page is the clear tool has been known to brick Wiis, specifically when deleting the SYSCONF.

As long as you don’t delete the sysconf you should be okay. There are other tools that delete stuff like mail.
