News Channel and Check Mii Out Channel issues

So the News Channel problem has been covered before in another post, but the guide linked in that post now links to a 404 error page. Do you folks have another guide that can fix both the News Channel and the Check Mii Out Channel?

I believe I was just getting those error codes earlier, have you run the patcher for news and check mii out?

the wiilink button in dolphin doesnt patch these 2 channels

run the patcher and install those channels manually
