Other WiiLink services work (forecast & news channel) and the status webpage does not show any downage. The channel worked yesterday.

Here's information about your error:

Class for error 23xxxx: Everybody Votes Channel error codes.
Error for error 239001: Everyone Votes Channel data invalid.
Solution for error 239001: If using RC24, check IOS31 is patched (Does News/Forecast work?)

You don't. You install it and it just overwrites the normal IOS31

I don't think IOS31 is mentioned in hacks.guide? The forecast and news channels are working for me.

yes, i had the same problem with forecast and news channel working, and I did the patch and it worked. So, it's at least worth a try

I can't find any information on IOS31 on both hacks.guide and the wiilonk website

I'm not going to mess around with IOS stuff unless there's an actual guide on it.

I'm not the only one having this issue suddenly happen, so I highly doubt it's a me thing, especially since it worked before.

When re-installing the channel, I deleted both the channel and the save data and it erased all info and had to re-register like if I just got the app. But after all of that it fixed the issue for me

at the expense of my save data

i tried to copy the data folder over to my usb and that worked

but i cannot put any of the contents back on the nand

so i guess i just gotta live with not having that data on my system again
