#Can’t synchronize Wii’s clock with sntp
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
if you have a multimeter, you can check the voltage; if it’s under 3 volts, the battery is dead
i swapped the battery and its still broken
yes
that is strange then
if the region of my wii helps its Japanese
and as for the bad blocks, I don’t know anything about which ones do what
but I don’t think a Japanese region Wii should make any difference
ok
i did see that it writes to sysconfig, so I’ll see what i can do in the text editor of wiixplorer
making a nand backup first
good idea
random, but i searched up my nand id on google and a lot of people have actually owned this wii
nand id: ecdc1095
also turns out previously someone got it with 100% perfect nand blocks on BootMii
I can’t see my Wii’s sysconfig because its encrypted
hmm
if you have something to view it on the Wii itself, could that work?
unless it’s all binary data and not text
I tried wiixplorer’s text editor but that didn’t work
idk any wii application that can view binary
go to file structure on https://wiibrew.org/wiki//shared2/sys/SYSCONF and go to the file offset 0x0000
that’s all I see
Yeah that’s what I was afraid of
I’m gonna delete my sysconfig and try again
there’s a homebrew app for that
I wouldn’t suggest doing it from within WiiExplorer
Ok
hang on
?
oh yea I have that
yeah there should be something in there to delete the sysconf
ik
try that out, but make sure you have a backup of your message board data if you want to keep it
