I have tried several things. My goal is to get all my games loading from single spot so no swapping of drives etc. I can load from a really old drive wii and gamecube that is externally powered. Problem is the drive is tiny. This made me think it was a power issue so i got a y splitter cable for my larger drive 1tb. Still didnt work. Even tried pulling the power from usb brick. I see the internet says compatability can suck but if i am loading wii and gc games and gc works does that mean my drive isnt on the bad list? Also, what is the limiting factor? I can get both working on sd but i saw that some wii games arent supported like kirbys return to dreamland. If i cant get usb to work id like to find a list of gamds that dont work from sd.
On the drive i tried fat32 partion and two seprate partitions 1 wfbs from wiibackup manager and the other fat32. I would really appreciate any help or even ideas on what the limiting factor is on the good vs bad drives. I tried a hdd and samsung ssd.
