#homebrew channel not detecting SD Card

i have the same issue, even though it was working before and the wii itself detects the sd card (able to click on the sd icon at the bottom of the screen)
when i try to launch bootmii, it behaves like the bootmii files are missing (blinking disk light with black screen) but when i plug the sd card into my computer, all the files are still there

it works after i reinserted the same sd card
Detailed steps
- insert usb and SD card into pc
(probably not relevant) - copy (old) nand backup to pc
(probably not relevant) - transfer some games to usb for usb loader gx
(probably not relevant) - transfer SD card and usb back into wii
- turn on wii and go to homebrew channel
- see an empty homebrew channel and see that bootmii works
(probably not relevant) - exit out of homebrew channel
- reenter homebrew channel

basically, try removing and reinserting the sd card
