#Bootmii not launching when I restart the console

do this
hold reset, while holding reset, turn on the power
I'll try that, thanks. It wasn't mentioned in the guide (or I missed it). https://wii.guide/bootmii
This is for Priiloader not BootMii
When you turn the Wii on, does the disc drive flashes once or twice?
its boot2 isn’t it
uhh it flashes once after I turn the power on, then a few seconds later flashes again
Alright so BootMii seems to be installed
Priiloader and BootMii as boot2 are two different things
The SD card is inserted when you turn the console on, right?
Can you send the content of the bootmii.ini file please
No. I'm using one of those wii hdmi converter thingies
Is this a Japanese/American or European Wii?
Replace "PROGRESSIVE" with "NTSC", save the file and try again
Both instances of "PROGRESSIVE"?
On the VIDEO= line only
Like this?
Yes
What's the size of the card?
64gb
Formatted to FAT32, right?
Yup
Unfortunately no, not at the moment 😦
Alright lol
I'm not sure what's going on tbh
You can still perform a NAND backup tho
I assume you also installed BootMii as IOS, if so go into the Homebrew Channel, press HOME and you should have a "Launch BootMii" option
Yep I do! I just saw on the guide that it's better to do it from boot2 if you have the option, which I did.
Thanks for your help. maybe somebody else will have the solution
this is the card i'm using if it helps

This card should work fine lol
When your NAND backup will be completed, could you do the same video without an SD card inserted? just to see how the disc drive flashes differ
Sure will do!
Video with no SD card inserted @coral bison
BootMii as boot2 is installed since the drive flashes twice at boot without SD card
So you’re fine on the brick protection aspect
However for it to not boot into the interface this is even weirder since as IOS works lol
Yeah it works as IOS haha. So weird. You mentioned component cables earlier- should I try using those...?
It’s likely not due to the component cables since you can boot into BootMii as IOS
Or would changing the autoboot delay on bootmii.ini do anything?
Delete the bootmii folder from your SD card, then get into the HackMii Installer again (using any method).
In HackMii Installer, go into BootMii -> Prepare a SD card.
Maybe it didn’t copied the program correctly.
Well I have no idea then lol
To be honest, I don’t remember if SDHC (>2GB) are supported for BootMii as boot2…
Maybe others will know
Thanks for trying anyways 🙂 you know more than I do, I have no idea what I'm doing lol
