I have USB Loader GX, Wiiflow, and nintendont on my wii. None of them are detecting a USB plugged into the back (tried both ports). USB Loader GX gets stuck on “Loading… Reinitializing Devices”. Wiiflow and Nintendont will read and load off an SD card just fine. Tried checking the path settings in Wiiflow and there was no USB listed, only the SD Card. The USB is a SanDisk 32 gb Cruzer Dial, and I haven’t had any issues with using it for other tasks such as WiiU storage or computer storage. I wiped and formated to FAT32 before trying to use it on the wii. I have the same file folder that I do on the sd card, (wbfs, i think its called). Wii Backup Manager was used on all cases to put games on. I’ve used the USB ports with a skylanders portal, so I don’t think the ports are the issue. Any thoughts on what I can do, or is it pretty much im forced to buy an external hard drive?

Any you recommend or are hard drives just more firendly to the wii in general compared to flash drives?
