the forecast channel works but the weather has not changed at all, and is stuck on "As of 4:00 p.m., 07/19", i hear that using the clear tool should work but i'm trying to be cautious if it works on vwii or not since it's a somewhat different thing.

Install the Wii version of the Forecast channel and Priiloader if you dont have it yet

#

the vWii version does not update

#

iirc the clear tool does not work on vWii

#

You know how you would normally install a WAD? do that but select uninstall

#

I think you can press Right on the D-Pad

#

or somethin

#

idk but it's like that

#

ah, in wii mod lite?

#

i thought that just deletes the file and not the channel

fiery crane
#

it deletes the channel

clever nexus
#

ill try that in a bit

#

this is honestly why i keep my spare og wii around since the vwii is somewhat sensitive or unstable some of the things i like to do with it

#

mainly the photo channel on vwii i just keep getting "this card is unreadable" yet works fine on my og wii

# fiery crane it deletes the channel

making sure again but will i be able to uninstall it (talking about like forecast channel photo channel and etc) and go back to the main menu safely just to make sure it worked then go back and install those wads

fiery crane
#

yea

#

so you would just uninstall the vWii Forecast Channel (and probably News Channel too) with your WAD Manager, go back to the system menu to check that it's gone, and then go back and install the normal Wii WAD

got it

#

im just on the look out for accidental bricks cause y'know

#

it's the damn vwii

vWii is not much different from the Wii, and can be easily unbricked even after the worst case scenarios

Wii can't

All the Wii channels work on vWii the same way, only thing that work differently on vWii are Custom Homebrew Channel Forwarders, you always need vWii specific versions
