Wads for the Queens golden wii

Hello, to start this off, I just want to state that I am the REAL OWNER of the Golden Wii. This is just a Nintendo Wii gold plated, sent to Queen Elizabeth. She never played it, and is only popular and well known to be dedicated to her. It was sent to the Royal Family and then later on returned.

I paid a total of 36K, and am deciding to keep this collectible. Although, I want to add wads hence I only have 1 game and everything is deemed to be shut down from a view. From a view, the remote or console doesn’t seem to have any branding on the gold plate shell, or a wrist strap.

I’ve bought it for 36K in an auction in 2022, and have left it sitting in a box. I live in America, so I don’t think I would be able to play any US games. I have bought a spare AC plug and another remote. The gold plated remote already suffers from damage, so I decided to use a spare to prevent any more, and could possible sell the remote. I have considered keeping though, as it is a set.

EDIT: I want to play NES and SNES games. Not further modding, as I don’t want to damage or risk damaging anything. The software is on 3.0E.

Ok, let me get straight to the point, why would you mod the gold Wii that was dedicated to the Queen of England? There are consoles that are meant to be collectors items and that's it, and this is one of them.

I agree. I paid a total of 36,000 USD on a website in an auction in 2022. I own various Nintendo consoles, such as an SNES and NES. I can definitely show a picture without a problem. I just want to install older WADS, and nothing else. I understand that there are no other units like this, but it seems as a waste to have something you can’t play. It plays EU games discs, but I’m in the US, I had to buy a different connector. (EDIT: considering the fact I’ve paid nearly 40K.)

How exactly would it lose value? You can remove both the homebrew channel and wad channels via the settings menu. I’ve installed wads before even when I was younger. I’m in my 20’s and owned a Wii when I was younger. I’ve installed nes and snes games a long LONG time ago. But I don’t remember where to install them from. I have the tools.

Well, first of all it would lose value just by using it, since you slowly ruin it.

Well am I supposed to keep on bunched in a box? It’s been around since 2009. I’ve kept it in a closet for almost 2 years. I want to do something with it. I’ve taken it to my local pawn, and explained the history along with the piece of paper by Donny Fillerap. They didn’t take it and believed the console was too old and useless.

That is a great collector's item, if you really own it I would advise you not to touch it and just put it on display, maybe even protecting it from dust or various stuff which could compromise it would be ideal.
I still don't have enough evidence to know that you own it but if you do, know that this is not a Wii that you can use to play, use a regular one instead.
As I said before you don't need to keep it closed in a box to rot, put it on display with the adequate protections, I would never use a $36K console to play.
