#3DS won't update during finalizing setup

Hi, I'm following 3ds.hacks.guide to mod my 3DS and I'm at finalizing setup. The guide told me to update the 3DS and i did, but it gave me an error and rebooted the console. I tried a second time, this time setting both DNS and proxy to Auto but it remained stuck on line 40% for half an hour. Lastly i booted into recovery mode and tried from there but i got the same error ad the first one. And the connection test works perfectly fine, is there something else i can try?
