I tried to play Japanese wiiware (tsuushin taikyoku - hayazashi shogi sandan) on my English wii that was region unlocked using priiloader. The game doesn’t work as a wii channel (the title on the wii channel is blank and has the same issue) or as a wad on usbloader . However, I’ve played Japanese games using this wii and it works just fine.
