#banner brick or wii problem?

what version is your priiloader?
the problem with it breaking could be because of issues with the bluetooth module in the wii but I don't know
If the Wii's Bluetooth board didn't work, the Wii wouldn't even power on, so I don't think that's it
I DM‘d her and priiloader worked again but her screen is getting like Pink/Purple every 20 minutes or the wii freezes.
My priiloader only froze once. After that it worked. When i‘m on the normal wii menu it just freezes. When i‘m however playing a game it not only freezes, it also gives me that pink static screen that i posted in #support-text
I bought a used wii so maybe it‘s just very dusty from the inside. The fan on the back also doesn‘t spin when the wii is on. I‘m going to open it up tomorrow and clean it. If it‘s still not working then i‘ll do some more research. Maybe the fan needs to be replaced and that makes the wii overheat?
I knew someone who had this problem before. Something wasn't positioned right inside the console
hardware issue
Yeah i really believe that would be it. Just something with the console itself. Like i already said, the wii is used maybe the previous owner had that wii for years already. Maybe he has kids who dropped the wii or whatever. Best to just find out myself. But it‘s 80% not something with the hacks that i installed i‘m very sure about that. I did enough research to know that. But ofc there‘s always the chance of smth i have installed like a file that‘s bad for the wii to handle
Do you know what that person maybe did?
Unfortunatly no
Did he solve it?
I asked him he said he didnt even know what he did
yes
Then there‘s still a chance
"Something looked wrong so I made it looked right and it was fixed"
inside the wii
Oh thank god
As long as it‘s smth with inside the wii i‘m happy
I have more knowledge about that than with hacks and files and data
So then i know it‘s fixable
I mean there always could be something
like my wii just stopped booting into the wii menu
but thats just really rare
No i don‘t have that problem
The wii itself operates good. Same with all the files
I just that i noticed that the fan is very dusty
Yea, I reccomend you just clean it
Same with others ventilated areas. I looked from the outside with a flashlight
Maybe its overheating
A friend also told me that i should clean it. She looked at it too and said that it looks dusty
I bet you thats just it
Yeah cuz the fan isn‘t spinning. Noticed that too
that can happen
mostly on Fire TVs
And she also said that the fan won‘t spin when it‘s too dusty. Youtube videos and google said that too
And just think about it. When the fan isn‘t spinning, that means it‘s overheating really fast. And i had the wii turned on for a whole ass day
Over that time it surely overheated which caused this
Yeah i didn‘t even play with it. I just left it on while doing other stuff
Yeah. The wii is old and needs rest
But yeah as long it‘s just from the insides then i‘m happy
I know a dude who‘s very smart in IT and stuff like that. He‘ll surely open it up for me if i‘m having too much trouble with it
thats good
i wish he was there for me before i snapped a ribbon connector inside a ds
But thank you very much you really gave me hope. I got the wii last weekend and got done hacking it like 2 days ago
You could imagine how much it frustrated me when suddenly a pink screen appeared when playing mario kart
definetly
oh yeah probably overheat
I already don‘t have literally zero knowledge when it comes to hacking and homebrewing
And then getting this pink jumpscare really made me lactate
Pissin and shittin all over the floor
lol
But thank youuuu!!
it may not work after you clean it
if that is the case just blow a fan or something to try and cool it down
