Priiloader loads before the system menu to be able to patch things like Wiiconnect24 and stuff. It was originally for Wii but a vWii version is being developed and is currently in its early development stages. It is an AROMA plugin, so the aroma environment must be installed on your Wii U for it to work.
So with this you will not need to boot connect mii as it already patches the vWii with it

No but it’s pretty straightforward
Boot into aroma and enter vWii mode. Install priiloader from the homebrew channel. Restart the Wii U and then boot into priiloader by holding escape on a keyboard while booting into vWii mode. You can also use the provided aroma priiloader forwarder that can be installed on the Wii U menu

this is a little unfortunate since daylight savings will always change my utc offset I think? but this seems pretty cool, and it might not really be a huge difference anyway if it sometimes goes off by one hour.
i'll try setting it for standard time even though daylight time is currently active

I think the only difference is that the wii u one patches out the time checks or whatever
thats why news channel always said it was like 99 hours since last update
but the priiloader hack should fix that, even with the wii u wads
