Ok ok, BEFORE you say anything like 'just google it' please read.
So the other day i tried turning on my Wii with my wiimote, the lights flashed ad usual but the wiimote wouldn't connect. So after resyncing it with the red buttons (still didn't work) i tried taking the batteries out and then putting em back in. Surprisingly now the wiimote's lights didn't even turn on. I tried swapping them with new batteries but that didn't work either. Weird.

Complete these steps
1.) Turn on the Wii console and wait until the Health & Safety screen appears (don't press the A Button).
2.) Open the small flap on the front of the Wii console and locate a red button labeled SYNC.
3.) Press and hold the SYNC Button down for 15 seconds. This will clear all the syncs on the Wii.
4.) Sync the Wii Remote(s) to the console. Each Wii Remote being used with the console will need to be synced.
As i said, i tried resyncing with the red buttons, but still didn't work
Now the lights on the wiimote don't turn on at all
Yes but did you clear the wii sync cache
Had the same like 3 days ago, ur probably in usbloader gx or homebrew browser or some other non system sofware.
Get (back) into the native system menu, I had all my 4 motes disconnected and all re-paired pretty fast
Prioloader lets you boot into system menu by booting while holding the select button, then select system menu also by select butto
Yes
Is it a third party wii remote
Nope, original wiimote plus
I assume it has fresh batteries
No, i can't even get the lights to turn on
Yes, i mentioned it in the thread
And u are in the native wii menu?
Okay, have you tired a different one
I don't think you understand, the sync problem is my second problem, my first problem is that the lights on the wiimote don't even turn on, it is dead. My other wiimote works fine btw
If you can please read the thread again, i think you missed somethings
I read it just wanted to make sure everything is accurate, well if this wii remote doesn't work and the other one does and you've tried everything obviously than the remote is dead, you can try to fix but might cost more to fix than it's worth
Thanks for the help, however i find it strange that the wiimote died only after taking the batteries out and then putting them back in
