I have a wii that can no longer connect to the internet because I have newer wifi in my house and the disc drive has failed. I have been following the cIOS offline install guide and the d2x Custom IOS installer opened on my wii, but while trying to install my first cIOS out of 4 I get the error message "net_init failed". I have no clue why it isn't installing, but if somebody could help me that would be great!

Show me what the cIOS wads look like?

ok

Oh and the reason you're getting the "net_init failed" is because you don't have internet

That is what I was thinking, but I didn't understand because I am following the offline guide.

Woah what is that

#

Oh wait

#

Go inside each of those folders and look for the .wad files

#

So once you find the 4 wad files, move each one to the root of the sd card

Each one has the .wad file mixed with a jumble of other files

Then delete the folders they aren't supposed to be in there

rustic kiln
#

oh ok

#

thank you

restive glen
#

Just take out each wad from each one and move it on the root

#

Then send pic when done

rustic kiln
#

sounds good, thank you

#

How does it look now?

restive glen

Also you made sure that the "pack WAD" box was checked and the "Patch IOS" was not checked right?

rustic kiln
#

I made sure to do that
