Booting game from usbloader gx doesnt work

It just stays at a black screen till I turn the wii off or goes back to the homebrew channel.

To help troubleshoot your issue please run Syscheck and test all IOS on your Wii by following this guide:
https://wii.guide/syscheck

When it's done it will generate and display a syscheck.csv file.

If you have an SD, power down the Wii and insert the SD into a PC. Drag and drop the syscheck.csv file from the root of your SD into chat.

If you don't have an SD, you might get an error. Just continue until the report is displayed. You will need to upload the report and link the URL to chat or take photos of the entire report.

You don't have any cIOS for game loading. It's no wonder USBLGX won't work.

Do you have a Windows PC you can run a program on?

I recommend you use the Windows program, ModMii. It has many Wii modding tools or "activities" built in.

Download and install ModMii to your windows PC
https://modmii.github.io/

Launch Modmii Classic (not ModMii Skin)
Type I Agree and press enter
Type SU and press enter to select the Syscheck Updater Activity.
Provide it the syscheck.csv file you just made by dragging the syscheck.csv file from the root of your SD and dropping it into the ModMii window.
It might ask you if you want to remove\overwrite RiiConnect24 in IOS 31. You can say no.
It'll list many wad files that it will download, select Y = Yes, Generate Guide and Begin Downloading
Follow the generated guide closely to update your mod files.

Start by downloading the installer from here

and then download d2x v11 here

extract the downloaded zip and move the v11 folder and ciosmap.xml file inside the d2x installer folder (you should have extracted the installer's zip by now); replace if asked

now follow the guide for installing cIOS (https://wii.guide/cios.html) but instead use these values

d2x v11 Slot 248 base 38
d2x v11 Slot 249 base 56
d2x v11 Slot 250 base 57
d2x v11 Slot 251 base 58

for the revision select the largest value
